This podcast is to encourage and challenge Christian men who recognize the battle against us. Men who are fighting for their marriage, fighting for their children, and are pursuing the plans and purposes of God in the every day in and outs of life. With enemy opposition on every side, and the war all around us, we line up with our shoulders broad and our confidence in God. Today we fight in faith, on the Frontline, for the Glory of God!
As Christian men, we can feel overwhelmed by the storms that come against us. Trials, tests, and temptations can seem to much to bear. We can feel like the wind, waves and floodwaters are going to drown us. It is during these times we must hold on to our faith in Jesus. Even when He seems to not even care about what we are going through, we must trust Him. He does care. He is aware of your storm. He is bringing you through, and as you trust Him, He will not allow you to go under!
As Christians we will experience times of testing and trial. If we choose to trust the Lord during these times, He will bring us through and we will be stronger. As the grape needs to be crushed in order to produce the wine. As the olives needs to be crushed in order to produce the oil, so do we need to be crushed to produce the fruit that God is desiring.
The Holy Spirit desires to lead us every day. He has places for us to go, people for us to meet, and purposes to fulfill. I encourage you to allow the Holy Spirit to lead you each day, and you will watch and see Him do amazing work!
Satan is doing his best to steal, kill and destroy the lives of people all throughout the earth. One way he is doing this is by bringing such hopelessness, depression, and discouragement to the minds of people hoping they will fall for his lie that the only way out, is by committing suicide. Suicidal thoughts can bombard the minds of many people. If you are suffering with these thoughts, you need to talk to somebody about it. Talk to your spouse, a pastor, a doctor or a therapist. Don't believe the lie that there is no hope. Jesus brings hope and life. I hope you are encouraged.
Happy Fathers Day Gentlemen!! If you are a Dad, this is the day we celebrate your calling, honor and privilege of being a Father! Though we as Dad's have faults and don't get it right all the time, our desire should be to be a faithful father. We can also trust that our Father in Heaven is perfect in all His ways and is truly Faithful!
Men are called to be the spiritual leaders of our families. Our wives and children are longing for us to take our place in leading them spiritually. Spending time simply reading the bible together as a family will allow us to hear what God is speaking. Spiritually leading our wives and children doesn't have to be complicated, but it should be consistent. I hope you are encouraged on today's episode!
God is leading you into His promises and plans for your life. We know there are many giants that are in opposition against us as men. These giants can cause fear and pressure, and may even seem to be right in the way of where you are heading. Giants can intimidate us, they can rob us of our rest, and they can attempt to eat the fruit and blessings that God has set aside for us. I hope you are encouraged by today's episode.
On today's episode I share with you my battle against anxiety. Five years ago, God allowed me to begin a war against anxiety. I didn't ask for it or expect it, but it came. Despite this war, I fully trust God and know that He is working all things out for my good, because I love Him. I don't pretend to know everything about anxiety, but I do know that it is real, and that even Christian's can battle this. I share with you my story, which is still being written, and trust that the Lord will use this episode to give you hope and encouragement if you are facing anxiety. Please know that you are not alone in the battle.
The enemy is strategically using pornography, sexual lust, and perversion to destroy men's lives. He is luring men into horrible addictions by getting the attention of their eyes. We must be on guard against the battle for our eyes, and understand the severe damage that pornography will do to us if we do not stand against it. It all begins with our eyes. Resist watching perversion. Resist looking upon images that will lead you down a path of destruction. Understand that God loves you and is for you. There is no condemnation towards God's people. I hope you are challenged and encouraged by today's episode.
We are all given a certain amount of time in our lives. Only God knows how much time we have.... WE DO NOT KNOW! Because of this, it is so important to use our time wisely and to enjoy the time we have been given. My encouragement for you is to embrace every minute, because once that minute is gone, you can never get it back.
On todays episode, my beautiful 13 year old daughter Jaelyn joins me to chat about being a teenage Christian girl. We talk about the important relationship it is between a daughter and her Dad. I hope you are encouraged as you listen!
On todays episode my son Austin drops in for a visit. I also talk with you about the reality of how we all have burdens and weights in our lives. We talk about how we need to give these burdens to God, and also the importance of finding someone we can trust to share our burdens with. I hope you are encouraged by todays episode!
As we navigate down the road of life, there are MANY distractions that are all around us. We must be alert and watching out for the distractions of the enemy that are trying to pull us off course. I hope you are encouraged by todays episode.
On this special Easter episode, I talk with you about God's amazing love, mercy and grace that He showed us on the cross. I talk about the criminal on the cross who believed in Jesus in his last moments of life, and Jesus assures him of eternal life with Him in paradise.
Our world is racing by! Our lives can easily become filled with many things to do, and many places to go. Often times in our lives we don't see far down the road or understand what God is doing, but we trust Him. My encouragement for you is to slow down and ask God to show you His perspective on your life and what He is doing in you, for you and through you. This episode was recorded spontaneously from my car so the audio will sound different, but I hope you are still encouraged by what you hear!
As men, we have the important responsibility of providing the needs of our wives and children. This can be very hard at times as life is getting more and more expensive to live. God has promised to provide all of our needs. If we trust Him, God will provide the needs of men, so that men can provide the needs of their families.
I share with you about a massive curveball that was just thrown at my wife and I this past week. This was a really difficult situation suddenly thrown our way and it forced us to pray, commit it to completely to God, pray, and pray some more. God has provided for us and has made a way! If He did it for me, He will do it for you!
In our marriages we will face many "curveballs" that life will throw at us. Unexpected circumstances will target our marriages and it is important that we stand together with our wives and face these hard times together. As we trust the Lord during the curveballs, He will bring us through into victory and blessing!
It is really important as husbands that we not only hear what our wives are speaking to us, but that we listen to her with sincere love. When we truly listen to, and understand what our wives are saying and needing, they will truly feel loved by us.
In marriage we will sin, fail, and make mistakes as men. Its important that we own up to our sin, to maintain proper intimacy with our wives in our marriages. We need to bring sin into the light so Satan can't get a foothold in our marriages and bring any kind of division.

At times as Christian men, we can feel like we cant go on. Life gets hard. Responsibility seems to much. The struggle against sin is overwhelming. Satan will try to make you quit, and throw in the towel. We must keep moving forward trusting the Lord. God will bring us to victory.
I pray today's episode will encourage you!
I am learning as a 38 year old man, the need for me to keep exercise and working out a priority in my life. We are all wired as spirit, mind and body. Physical exercise is so important for every area of our life as a man. I hope you are encouraged by today's episode.
Sometimes the words of encouragement from people help us. Sometimes they don't. If you are in a season of discouragement, it is crucial that you encourage yourself in God. In His love for you. In His promises for you. In His truth. I hope this podcast will encourage you to encourage yourself.
We have all poured our hearts out to God. We have all had open and honest conversations with God. But sometimes we need to find a brother in Christ who we can talk with, cry with, and share our burdens with. I hope you are encouraged by today's episode.
Leading our wives and children in God's direction can be hard. We need to pray and trust God for His leading as men, so we can faithfully lead our families. Join me as I share a time in my life where I felt that I messed up HUGE in leading my family. God is faithful, and as we trust Him with all of our hearts, He will direct our steps.
Each of our lives is as a vapor, it comes and it goes. It flies by with days, weeks, months and years, until one day we breathe our last breath on this earth. Often times we don't like to think or talk about this, but it is a reality for all people. Jesus came to be our example of how to live. He died for our sins, and was raised back to life again for us, so that we could be saved eternally through Him and one day live forever with Him. We must hold on to our faith in Jesus as men of God so we can lead our wives and children well in the challenging days that we are living in.
My 15 year son Austin joins me on today's episode for an unscripted conversation. We also discuss a moment of frustration that happened today at church, that could have ended bad, but ended with God being glorified. Hope you enjoy today's episode!

We all have past failures and let downs in our lives. Memories of hurt, anger, failure and the regrets of our past, can easily creep into our thoughts with heaviness and oppression. If we dwell on our past, we will be hindered in moving forward into what God is preparing us for. Stop looking back and keep looking forward!
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55 8-9
God desires to do great things for us and to accomplish His plans through us. Satan will try to discourage us with many distractions to prevent us from doing what God has called us to do. You will be encouraged on today's episode to no longer put off what God has instructed you to do, and to start now what God has called you to start.
God wants us to stand and fight for His glory! But standing at times can get tiring. The battle can really get intense and cause us to wanna give up and lay down. But I encourage you to stand.... and when you have done all to stand.... Keep Standing!
