When crisis comes, the church must respond with a fiery resolve to fan the flames of revival.
Revival or riots? It's clear which one is taking the nation by storm right now.
Simply, we must pursue full-blown, supernatural and overwhelming revival as our primary resolution. The new language, at its root, is passionate, aggressive and vein-popping intercession. We as God's government on the earth must rise up and pray!
This is the force the spirit of the age must feel coming against it in these end times. As we live a life of soul-ripping repentance and contend for revival in the land, we will be consumed with the desire for prayer. The need will overwhelm us. Tears will flow down our cheeks as we stand in the gap as spiritual warriors and push the enemy back.
I'm calling the godless politicians and the liberal media to swift, heart-wrenching repentance.
As I think about various online church services, meetings that consist of no more than ten people on site due to lockdown laws in our nation, I see something else. As these governmentally controlled worship events play out on the screens of American Christians on Sunday mornings, it's easy to miss the strings. Most don't notice them at all.
A nefarious group of people, made up of politicians, those in the media, social networking executives and other cultural leaders and influencers, are just off screen, positioned above the puppets they are controlling.
These puppet masters have been exposed and their evil schemes have been made clear.

All it took was a health scare to expose a negative spirit in many American Christians.
Some of you need to stop sharing negative reports about the serpent and start trampling on the serpent! The Bible makes it clear when it reveals we have been given all authority over the power of the enemy!
It saddens me quite deeply to see a famously strong American people have their spirits so easily and thoroughly crushed by our recent crisis. However, the reaction of the American people pales in comparison to how disappointing the response of many Christians is. Faith-walkers have surrendered that distinction for one of nervous caution. Walking by sight and not by faith has been the nearly instantaneous shift many have adopted as an invisible enemy has threatened their safety.
Of the weapons God has provided for us to win battles and counteract the assaults of the enemy, I wonder if joy just may be among the most supreme. Instead of scouring the internet in search of the perfect mix of vitamins, supplements, essential oils and unproven medicines to combat a medical threat, the Word of God states clearly that joy is the good medicine we need!

I'm convinced many Christians have no understanding of the term “Spirit-filled.”
My message is a call to all. Whether you affirm supernatural activity or not, I encourage you to dive deeper into the realm of the Spirit than you ever have in your life. It should be normal for everybody in today's church to have dreams and visions. Praying in tongues, prophecy and trembling in the fear of the Lord should be experienced by all. Supernatural boldness, signs, wonders and miracles and burning night and day with the fire of the Holy Spirit are our portion!
The church should be the place where Believers gather to collapse to the ground in groans of intercession. The place to boldly decree prophetic oracles, to prophesy and to get equipped in the Spirit.
Where are the firebrands who will fearlessly confront the wicked systems of the day?
Handcuffs, ankle monitors and locked church buildings are the new normal for many Christians in America today. The state has threatened worshipers of Jesus at the same time they are opening the “essential” doors of Planned Parenthood wide. Somehow it's safe to congregate at Walmart, Home Depot, liquor stores and on golf courses but gathering in worship, prayer and repentance are a threat to national safety.
A closed church isn't the most disturbing reality, however.
God causes it to rain on the just and the unjust. Be careful that you don't wrongly interpret its meaning.
I've been running in and out of stores today, running errands in the midst of an unrelenting downpour. The rain is soaking all who venture out into it, no matter if they are good or evil, just or unjust.
45 …He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45 (NKJV)
I've heard many frightened Christians shout this verse in support of their idea that God will visit pestilence equally on the lost and the saved (how that is comforting I'll never know). Their argument is that while we may have a measure of hope that God will ultimately heal or rescue us, we must expect the exact same “rain” to hit both Believers and unbelievers. The force of the assault, whether it's a demonic advance or judgment of God, can't be avoided.
Of course, any true Christian would agree that they have an advocate in Jesus. So, the disposition becomes, “We can't avoid the plague but we can hope that God meets us in that place.” Basically it's the passive, hands-off “whatever God's wills” belief system. This is the belief that can be exceedingly dangerous.

Those who haven't had a life-rocking encounter with Jesus are at a disadvantage and it's unfair for those who have been transformed to expect them to see things the way we do. In fact, to attempt to coerce them to adhere to our set of standards, in violation of their own free-will and their right to also have a say in morality is ineffective, and in most situations, unfair if not outright arrogant.
Who are we to say that pornography is wrong? What makes our version of truth regarding homosexuality more valid then theirs? To Christians, babies were created by God, given human spirits at the time of conception and they clearly, obviously deserve protection. Except, those who don't believe in God the way we do simply disagree that they are fully human at points of development prior to birth. They have a right to that belief, as horrifying as we think it is.

A basketball legend is suddenly gone. I'm so grieved, actually sickened in my spirit as our world keeps on partying and even those who should know better, Believers, are more focused on enjoying life than preparing for eternity. Ending up in Heaven is so very rare and it takes much more than believing in God to get there.

Traveling ministers and the pastors who invite them most both welcome correction.
The money changers’ sin was simple—they attempted to use God’s temple for personal gain. They were focused on making a profit. This resulted in one of Jesus’ most violent reactions, and I believe a similar reaction is coming to a corrupt ministry scheme today. ~Snake Oil Ministry
Of my nearly three decades of ministry, I've spent many years as a pastor inviting in guest ministers and I've spent many years as the guest minister, traveling to serve a pastor when called. Wholesale reform in this exchange must come if we the impact we are hoping is to be realized.
Listen to today's podcast...
The current construct of the church is so far off base that it will take nothing less than full-blown reformation to resolve. When it functions correctly, most Christians won't want to attend, but you will have your remnant and the world will finally be rocked with the power of Jesus!
Listen to today's podcast!
In today's podcast I share four reasons why much of today's evangelism is actually hurting the advance of the Kingdom.
The Great Commission is such a serious mandate that we have no option but to get it right. In fact, with Hell growing larger and innumerable people are flooding into that unspeakable place every day, we must sound the alarm, preach the truth and rescue the perishing.
However, it must be done rightly. I share four reasons why much of today's evangelism is out of step with the Word.
God is awakening Christians to a new wineskin of the church that is emerging today.
Apostolic hubs, prophetic revival centers that are fueled by an intense spirit of prayer are rising up as God's remnant church is yearning for a move of the Holy Spirit. Listen to this podcast and share your thoughts!
To reject such an explosive, empowering and otherworldly gift doesn't make any sense, though millions of Christians today don't have it. Many campaign aggressively against it.
Jesus' final instructions were to receive this gift, yet it's not emphasized in most churches today...even Spirit-filled churches.
We are at great risk if we attempt to live our lives without the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Listen to this podcast to learn exactly why.
If we aren't burning white-hot on fire for Jesus we better stop and consider where we are in God. Our passion, fire and level of intimacy with Jesus absolutely impact where we will spend eternity. There are millions of people who are lifting their hands in worship, praying, reading their Bible, serving and "living right" but are following Jesus in an unsaved condition. They just don't have passion for Jesus and have no oil in their lamps.
Rev 3:16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
Ekklesia. It's a word that many misunderstand, and it would do us well to discover just what it means. Church government is critical on a local church level and also in the city church.
One of the quickest ways for a move of God to fizzle out is to have the wrong people giving leadership. Pastors are not typically gifted to lead regional outpourings. Apostolic leadership can both lead very well and also ensure the right people are in the right positions.
This leads me to the next point: No, you can't expect to minister any way you choose in your church. Your gifting may not be needed in the current season. You may not be ready. You might have maturity or character issues. You could possibly be better used in another role.
Listen to this podcast and then share your thoughts!
I am crying out for those who have rejected Jesus. You are in grave danger. In fact, many in the church are equally at risk and there is only one answer to this threat.
There is a force that is far more persuasive, powerful and crafty than our human intellect. The ability for humans to reason and to rightly discern truth versus error is laughable in the face of this very real, living and destructive enemy. We don't stand a chance, regardless of whether we are saved or not, unless we live every moment of our lives baptized in the other-worldly, supernatural and extreme power of the Holy Spirit.

Many Christians are triggered any time someone brings character issues of President Trump to light, arguing that we must go silent regarding such problems. They argue that it's hatred to ever voice concerns and that we must ignore unrighteousness in order to win the spiritual battle in our nation. Madness.
Advice for millennials who can't seem to find or keep a job:
1. Don't put "gamer" on your resume as one of your skills.
2. Plan on staying in one job for at least a few years (not a few months).
3. When you show up for the interview, dress up, no matter what kind of job you are applying for.
4. Show up for the interview—15 minutes before it starts.
5. Be brilliant during the interview.
6. Always show up for work early. Always.
7. Never, ever call in sick unless you are truly sick and unable to work.
8. Missing your shift should be rare.
9. Work very, very hard.
10. Don't confuse work for fun. You are there to complete tasks, not to be entertained.
11. Lower your expectations, start at the bottom and earn your promotions.
12. Smile, be positive, refuse to complain, never gossip with coworkers and exhibit impeccable character.
13. Use social media to impress potential employers by posting appropriate content, using proper punctuation and spelling and revealing your commitment to excellence in life.
14. Do everything you can to continually impress your employer, making it easy for them to consider you for raises and promotions.
15. Grow up, be an adult and realize the rest of your life will not be about fun and games. Being responsible, having integrity and possessing a strong work ethic are requirements for a successful life.
YOU. MUST. HEAR. THIS.
Share this with every person you can, every pastor, every Christian. This is a MUST HEAR message that addresses an issue that is overtaking the church and sending millions of professing Christians to Hell.
You wonder why I suggest that most Christians may end up in Hell? Check out these stats:
68 percent of church-going men and over 50 percent of pastors view porn on a regular basis. Of young Christian adults 18-24 years old, 76 percent actively search for porn.
Only 13 percent of self-identified Christian women say they never watch porn.
57 percent of pastors say porn addiction is the most damaging issue in their congregation.
We need a revolution of true hellfire preaching that will assault the darkness and set the captives free!
Is it possible most local churches today are dead end churches? Many dead end churches are vibrant, full of passion, keenly focused on their vision, on fire... and simply contending for the wrong things. Listen to this podcast where I share just how weak and compromised this has made the church and how it impacts the pursuit of revival.
Are house churches the answer to the lack of Holy Spirit freedom in the institutional church today? Is the church being redefined as gatherings of people who worship with abandon and contend for supernatural manifestations in small group environments? Is there a danger to such a focus? I talk about all of this and more in today's podcast!
God has ordained President Trump for office, that cannot be denied. However, there are Christians who are completely unconcerned with any character flaws or sin in the President's life, and they are setting a very dangerous precedent that can impact our nation tragically.
I'm celebrating Kanye West's surrender to Jesus, and I'm believing for a wave of celebrity conversions. However, we must deal with the mess the church has created by refusing to deal directly with the issues of holiness, homosexuality and immorality.
The idea of churches being seeker friendly, while possibly being well intentioned, is biblically nonsensical.
Massive reform must come to the structure of the church as we stop attempting to draw in visitors, seekers and others. We need the remnant. The church needs the intercessors and the prophetic warriors to move into position!
Pastors, STOP focusing on the lost and seekers and START cultivating a culture of extreme burning, of supernatural shock and awe that will result in the hungry rushing to the altar and the pretenders running out the door!
I'm dismayed at how many Christians see no problem with celebrating one of witchcraft's most holy days. I'll state it plainly: No Believer in Jesus should have anything to do with Halloween. We need Spirit-filled, prophetic prayer meetings not pagan parties in the church!
Yes, we need raging, burning, zealous, passionate, hungry revivalists who are contending for an outpouring, exposing the darkness and awakening the sleepers! However, that doesn't mean we need to suck the life out of, well, our life!
In this podcast, I talk about the need to have FUN as a family, to get away as a couple and to reject guilt over prospering financially, going on vacations, being entertained and just plain having loads and loads of huge FUN!
People who can't find victory over sin tend to invent unbiblical theologies such as false-grace, eternal security or they are drawn to overreaching grace ministries.
This is an offense to the cross of Christ, as they are convinced the blood was not strong enough to give them freedom from sin. They believe Christians are sinners, that they sin every day and that they can never be free from sin. Listen to this podcast as I expose these attempts to create doctrines that are outside of biblical bounds.
We have a generation of Christians who are throwing out every negative aspect of God, creating a "God soup" filled with all of the ingredients that are happy, endearing and positive. The problem? Their recipe is wrong.
They don't know how to deal with biblical realities like Hell, judgment, wrath, the fact that God has killed, still kills and will kill a lot in the future. They don't like that God, so, instead, they create a cosmic teddy bear that makes them feel warm all over. That cosmic teddy bear ain't God. Listen to this podcast that will attack these ungodly theologies and call us all to worship the God of the Bible.
I've watched an increased infatuation with an off-balance concept of love overtake church after church, Christian after Christian to the detriment of evangelism and ministry in general. This distorted view of what love is has redirected entire streams away from core, biblical methodologies.
Of course, a true revelation of love is life-changing, and we all need to grow in love. However, a skewed understanding of just what love is and how it needs to manifest has had a seriously negative impact on the advance of the Kingdom. Listen to this intense and urgent podcast!
It's shocking that people would reject the sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" by Jonathan Edwards, even though it helped launch the Great Awakening. Why do they reject it? They can't navigate between the ideas that God is good and that God would cast people into Hell.
Many have rejected any concept of God that includes wrath, anger, judgment, discipline or negativity. The problem? They are changing God's character to meet their own desire for some pixie dust fairy or big cuddly teddy bear.
God judges. People are still under his wrath. The terror of the Lord isn't always translated as reverence. And, he's not always in a good mood.
Many who are rightfully in opposition to false-grace doctrine have gone too far. These kneejerkers are wrongly presuming we as Christians are sinners, that we sin every day and that we cannot be without sin. I wonder if that is an even greater heresy than false-grace. Listen to this podcast as I share an interesting and funny story that will make this all too clear.
This is a CAN'T MISS podcast! I share a phenomenal story of how God enabled great financial provision as we were available to shift!
Are you flexible and ready to move into a job, a new state, a new nation or a new ministry? Listen and let your faith rise up!
Too many are living a safe life, delaying, holding back, staying planted, in a rut and far from the adventure God planned for them.
New seasons in God are THRILLING, and they often require you to move out of safe, comfortable places. Trust me, it's worth it. If God's telling you to move to another city, to start a new ministry, to change careers or to do ANYTHING, he will order your steps...if you are righteous, obedient and surrendered to him.
Mega-grace, a term that I came up with to better communicate the issue, is rampant, and most wouldn't think there was any problem at all with this theology. However, multiplied millions of people are at great risk as they emphasize God's "goodness" to the exclusion of judgment, wrath, Hell and severity.
Listen to this podcast on a very serious situation in today's church.
Christians are famous for opposing the pursuit of wealth, and opposing others who pursue wealth. Why is this?
In this podcast I deal with the issues of resisting biblical prosperity and how it makes absolutely no sense to do this.
In this podcast I deal with several reasons why pastors don't allow people to prophecy in a church service.
I also deal with pastors who refuse prophecy and how a toxic prophetic environment is the result.
In fact, we can probably thank resistant pastors for the widespread and dysfunctional "Facebook prophet" culture we have today.
You may be surprised at just how much of a pandemic the occultic Christian life is. It's a dark, sinister strategy millions of Believers use to avoid having their secret life exposed.
Porn, anger, alcoholism, lust, impure relationships, immoral media and so much more are hidden safely under their public masks, and the enemy is ready to destroy them if they don't tear down the veils and repent.
I'm going to address two types of Christians:
Those who are WAY TOO NICE
Many Christians presume their "bold devotion to truth" gives them license to be rude, uncaring, not honoring, mean spirited, arrogant, dismissive, mocking or flat out mean.
Other Christians are so afraid of hurting someone's feelings that they are passive, weak, timid and they refuse to go to battle for anything if someone might be unsettled by it.
Listen and respond to today's podcast!
Transitioning a Church to a House of Prayer - Why it Rarely Works...and Why it's a Powerful Move...
Transitioning our church to a house of prayer was a revealing process:
I discovered that many people enjoyed worship but not intercession.
They valued developing human relationships much more than developing intimacy with Jesus.
They were more comfortable in a typical Sunday service than in a spontaneous, prophetic service.
They were mostly looking for teaching that offered tips for successful living.
The idea of having vision for regional transformation was foreign to them.
A focus on revival was not attractive to them.
They enjoyed soaking in God's presence but not contending for transformation.
A focus on the end-times was irritating.
Spiritual warfare was unnecessary to them.
Saying prayers was okay, but praying fervently as a lifestyle was too costly.
The amount of dysfunction regarding ministry, identity and motive in Christians and ministers today is troubling.
The topic of this podcast will touch every single Christian alive, including yourself. Why do you (or don't you) minister? What is your motive?
If all ministry was taken from you, would you still be full of life and joy? Or, is your identity wrapped up in what you do or in what you enjoy doing?
Further, so much of what we see in churches today is absolutely unnecessary. Why do pastors keep adding in these programs, activities and focuses? Why don't they zero in on the main thing? What if half the people left the church and took their money with them? Would the leader and those who remain still be full of joy, knowing nobody can stop them from moving the way God has called them to? Or would they spin out and get depressed?
There are so many questions, and I deal with several of them in this podcast. What do you think?
There are three simple but powerful keys to financial breakthrough that I share in this podcast, along with our own financial story and a testimony of debt elimination.
Learn how Amy and I started Escape Code, The Axe Game and Sagas Mysteries, and how God was able to keep us in a position of success as we stepped out in wild faith!
The church has largely surrendered the mantle of prophet in favor of the title of salesman.
Everything from Christian rock to seeker sensitive ministries has resulted in a lukewarm stew that will soon be vomited out of God's mouth.
Music wasn't intended for evangelism. The church service isn't an evangelistic tool. We need to increase the fire, reintroduce holiness and let those who aren't interested in Jesus to walk. Too many have wrapped Jesus up in pretty wrapping paper and wrapped him with a bow, hoping people will deem him interesting and exciting enough to follow. This is a serious violation and a blight on the church.
In today's podcast I discuss two barriers to breakthrough that many people don't consider:
1. They should not pursue full-time ministry, or they should leave full-time ministry. They aren't graced for it.
2. They need to move to a new region. Their next assignment may be located hundreds or thousands of miles away.
Instead of celebrating repentance, many Christians are rejecting the confession of people like Benny Hinn, claiming they are "discerning" the truth beyond the surface. There is no biblical gift of discernment. What they are most often operating from is a gift of suspicion, and you know where that gift comes from.
I'm SO DONE with all of the foolish church gimmicks pastors are employing to draw a crowd and to create a "fun, family" atmosphere. STOP IT!
We need to encounter deity! We need the fire of the Holy Spirit to come down and scorch the church again!
BE CAREFUL, use wisdom, be honoring, be teachable and walk in the fear of the Lord whenever you think of labeling someone as a HERETIC!
You need to be OK with supporting ministers who you don't always agree with.
For example, while I'm definitely in a different camp, you CANNOT DENY that Bill Johnson has some RIDICULOUS wisdom.
I'm not a Baptist...not even close...BUT can I grow through certain Baptist teachers? Heck yeah.
I'm not Word of Faith, but, dude, some of the truth bombs they release are legit.
The IHOP prayer movement is world changing and their teaching is deeper than most anywhere I've ever been...but I don't subscribe to the same model of intercession that they do. That's not a big deal.
So, where do I draw the line? When the core teaching is CLEARLY heretical (not simply debatable).
What does "heretical" mean? It means if you believe that thing, you most likely are not saved. That's the ultra-simple definition.
So, for example, false-grace, universalism, etc. are out. I'm not drawing from those wells.
I'm coming at you from a different direction in this podcast. I usually hit on the call to holiness, intensely fulfilling your ministry, etc. Today? I want to encourage you to have FUN! All the time! Fill your life with trips and games and all sorts of childlike FUN!
Amy and I spend a HUGE part of our days developing three businesses that are fully focused on entertainment AND developing a YouTube channel that's all about travel and FAMILY FUN!
Don't be hyper-spiritual. Be real. Experience the abundant life God called you to.
Oh, and also...I talk about why I'm not a fan of boycotts. Listen and comment!
It sounds spiritual. It has the appearance of humility. It seems nice. However, it's often flat out wrong and a direct rejection of biblical directives. What is it? Just "praying about it" and letting God handle it. What is "it?" Anything God has mandated us to do.
This is why churches have leaders living in sin, and still behind the pulpit. This is why people are hanging out with professing Christians who are unrepentant in a sinful lifestyle. This is why churches refuse to "purge" unrepentant people from fellowship.
To say "just pray about it and leg God sort it out" is to demand God do something that he demanded us to do. If we put the ball back in God's court, you can be sure judgment will hit.
Listen to this important and provocative podcast and share it with pastors and Christians who need to be awakened to action!
We've sadly seen two disappointing replies to two different serious situations in the body of Christ in the span of just a few days. Bethel Church responded very poorly to a request for clarification to a confusing and dangerous post. Rick Joyner responded very poorly to a call for discipline for Todd Bentley. I believe the seduction of hyper-love can be, at least in part, to blame. Millions have been derailed by this humanized version of love and we need to bring its deception into the light.
The uniting of two sinister forces, hyper-grace and hyper-love, has created a ferocious monster that is devastating lives.
I believe there are two evil, powerful and seductive demonic spirits that are roaming freely in churches all over the world, and people are celebrating them, promoting them and imparting them into millions of others. These spirits that have already caused extreme destruction in innumerable people are hyper-grace and hyper-love.
CHANGED, a ministry of Bethel Church in Redding, California, included the following statement in a post:
God loves all people, LGBTQ+ and straight. The message of CHANGED has never been “All Must Change.” We share these stories specifically for Christians who are unfulfilled in identifying as LGBTQ+. For those of you who feel fulfilled and happy as you are, we love you!
Of course, this was immediately troubling to me as it seemed as if Bethel Church was moving closer to the false-grace, hyper-love philosophy that is bewitching so much of the church today. However, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I don't believe it's appropriate to launch into attack mode, as many of today's “protectors of truth” tend to do. It's important to honor even when questions and controversies arise. I am believing that Bethel Church will bring clarity to a murky and concerning situation.
Here's my response to their post:
Oh no. Please, Bethel Church, PLEASE rethink this. Reconsider your wording. The following that you wrote is NOT GOOD. Did you possibly word it incorrectly?
“We share these stories specifically for Christians who are unfulfilled in identifying as LGBTQ+. For those of you who feel fulfilled and happy as you are, we love you!”
The seduction of hyper-grace is drawing millions of people away from the truth, and this heretical teaching is filling churches all over the globe. Multiplied millions of people are at risk of Hell, even though they are convinced they are saved and truly following Jesus. This is no longer an epidemic. It's a pandemic.
Epidemic: An outbreak of disease that attacks many peoples at about the same time and may spread through one or several communities. Pandemic: When an epidemic spreads throughout the world.
There are churches that don't go as far as heretical hyper-grace, but they do promote grace, non-stop, to the exclusion of critical biblical truths. Repentance, hell, sin, brokenness, the terror of the Lord and other core Christian truths are ignored.
They may consider themselves to be pro-revival as they focus on the idea that "God is always in a good mood," love, relationships and how excited God is about them. While there are some good things to glean from this model of ministry, there are inherent dangers that we must be made aware of.
I'm so tired of snowflake Christians who can't handle intense truth, hellfire preaching and aggressive messages. They fatten themselves on soft spoken, poetry reading style teachers and worship music that never moves beyond supposed "revelations of love" as they overdose on warm feelings.
Trade in your pajamas for armor. Thicken your skin. Arise and fight.
We need integrity and maturity in the prophetic today more than ever! You don't need to be a prophetic weirdo and you don't need to say, "God said," every time you have a spiritual thought! Listen to this podcast and make yourself ready to truly, legitimately hear God's voice.
Okay, a nerve was hit! You have to listen to this raw yet fun podcast. I don't hold back dealing with the nasty spirits that are driving bad tippers.
We should tip HUGE no matter the situation! We aren't called to teach servers a lesson, but rather we should be blessing them as people who represent Jesus!
So, I told my wife I was writing an article on sex. She laughed and said, "You don't know anything about sex!" After my crushed ego was healed (not really), I laughed right back and said, "I know! But, people need to hear about the amazing resource we discovered this weekend!"
God is ready to breathe life into your marriage and into your sex life. Healing awaits. A life of intimacy and adventure is God's desire for you and your spouse!
I'm convinced there are MANY pastors who need to step out of pastoral ministry and get a secular job for the sake of their wive's spiritual and emotional health.
The reason many pastors wives are spiritually and emotionally devastated is because people don't know how to honor them, lift their burdens and shower them with praise.
When people criticize their husband, gossip, scheme, resist, leave the church, stop giving financially or demand too much from him, it can absolutely crush her.
So, often the pastor must lay down his calling for the sake of his wife, or people need to start treating both of them much better.
Even today's most Spirit-filled churches must embrace radical reformation. Listen as I describe the 2 Chronicles church model, a revelation-driven, prophetic model, that must come to the church, and fast.
People have some strange arguments about biblical obedience, works, holiness, etc. They say it's unnecessary in order to receive God's love. What they don't understand is that it is all necessary to live a dramatic, supernatural, prophetic life. To hear God's voice requires quite a life of devotion.
We need to stop attempting to redefine God by eliminating characteristics that don't feel nice and sweet to us. God is God. He has no obligation to explain himself to us. While the love he has is overwhelming, his anger and wrath are still in effect today.
An increasing number of Christians leaders are either refusing to take a stand against various sins including homosexuality, or they are outright affirming them. The bigger issue? The church is allowing this compromise to continue.
We need a firm rebuke against the rising tide of what many are calling Christian Universalism, but understand, this belief system is not Christian at all.
Rejection of eternal torment in Hell is a heretical belief that absolutely puts one's salvation in jeopardy. They are following a different God with a different nature.
You can't find or keep a job? Listen to this podcast.
Did you know the Bible mandates that we don't associate with Christians who are lazy and who don't work, who aren't productive? It's true.
I often hear about people who can't find or keep a job, and I thought I'd share some insight as to why this might be happening.
In the podcast I deal with how to sell yourself, how to ooze confidence, what to say when you have a poor employment history, grooming, what to wear to the interview, questions to ask, being on time, being teachable, being authentic, being available and MORE!
Possibly the most shocking shift coming to the church is the transition away from senior pastoral leadership.
What happens now is that pastors are overwhelmed with connecting with people, feeding them what they prefer and ensuring they are attended to—and that has compromised the strength and outward mission of the church.
Now, of course, helping people is absolutely appropriate and necessary, and pastors are the ones best equipped by God to do that, but this ministry was never meant to be the primary function of the church!

Preaching to the saints? You need to understand that many of them are not safe—if they are saved at all.
“Who then can be saved?” Matthew 19:25 (ESV)
The call of church leadership is not to confirm someone's salvation, but rather to challenge it. We need the fear and trembling to reverberate through our spirits night and day that only wrestling with our salvation can produce.

Give me renewal any time. I'm ready to encounter God and to be overwhelmed by his glory. However, I can't stop there. There's another level, and it will result in a deep tremor in our spirits. We need revival. Learn about the difference here.
If you are resistant to revival, the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, to groans of the Spirit and tongues of fire and to an atmosphere of desperation, depth, freedom and extreme hunger, and your church is attempting to pursue and affirm these things…just leave. Disappear.
Stop being an irritant and a pain to the pastor you are supposed to be honoring and supporting. Quit with your manipulation, control and witchcraft. Stop presuming your opinions and insights are so important and that your voice must be heeded. You are hindering the Holy Spirit and those who are passionate about Jesus.
The enemy is using you and you need to either move on or repent in tears. I can't imagine being the one that stood in the way of a move of God. Grieving the Holy Spirit is a serious violation and I pray the fear of the Lord grips you.
What happened to the supernatural church? When we go deep in prayer and the prophetic and as we advance in our assignments, we absolutely will invade the darkness and see the spiritual realm manifest.
Listen as John shares a dramatic supernatural story that gives clarity as to why this is so important for Christians today.
I was moved to tears during this podcast as I read an email about the legacy and impact we had in one of our assignments in Manitou Springs, Colorado. This message will encourage you and set you free from the lie that you must be ever growing and developing in order to be successful. Much of what you do will never be noticed by others and the impact may not be felt for years or generations. It's valuable though and it's your obedience that counts.
"So, you've never sinned?"
That's the snarky question people ask when Christians, who are promoting holiness in the fear of the Lord, scrutinize immorality in other Believers.
How should we handle it when others sin? What about when a Christ-professing leader sins publicly without repentance? Should we remain silent? What about Christians who support abortion and homosexual rights? We can say nothing because we too have sinned in the past?
John tears apart this ridiculous defense and calls people to be more interested in God and holiness than they are in supporting others.
Many are working hard to attract the wrong crowd on Sunday—and the result is an Ichabod church.
I've met countless pastors and others who say they are focused on revival, but who are misguided on exactly what it is. Their focus is on attracting people to the church, on people getting “saved” and on other church growth strategies.
The problem? The foundational pursuit of revival has nothing to do with church growth or the lost. It has everything to do with the church awakening, contending in intercession and attracting the fire of the Holy Spirit.
The lost didn't show up in the Upper Room. Marginal followers of Jesus were repelled by the Upper Room.
This is a must listen! Where is the fear of the Lord in the church today? People have been duped and deceived into believing that sin has no eternal consequence in the lives of Believers. They reject the ideas of sin consciousness and behavior modification. They presume intimacy with Jesus and the grace of God are sufficient to keep them free. It's not true.
People are crying out for a church on fire, and it's time to transition the tired old wine skin out as God prepares us for a saturating, explosive outpouring. John shares clear steps on how the Sunday service can become a furnace of revival.
It's disturbing when professing Christians are turning a blind eye to serious failures by our President, who claims to be a Christian.
We can pray for him, love him, support him and believe that he's God's man of the hour without also affirming immorality and inappropriate speech.
Pastors, stop with your ridiculous church growth strategies. Stop counting people on Sunday mornings. Stop with the programs. STOP!
We need people who will cry out, who are desperate for a move of God, for the fire of Heaven to consume them!
I am a proponent of unifying around the absolutes of Scripture while rejecting what so many of the heresy hunters are doing. I don't want to come against legitimate movements, even if there is some error on a lower level, if God is truly anointing them. I don't want to call out people of God simply because they aren't in my stream.
However, I have been so disturbed, for years and years, about the mega-grace churches, ministries and movements. This is different than hyper-grace. I've dealt with hyper-grace which is false, unbiblical grace, as I believe it's clearly heretical. However, there is a rising tide of what I call mega-grace ideologies that are overtaking churches. They put most of their doctrinal eggs in one basket, focusing mostly on the positive. It's the "God is always in a good mood" and "the world is getting better and better" crowd that causes the grief in my spirit.
It would be very difficult for me to accept a ministry invitation to one of these churches. I just can't shake the alarms sounding within.
The problem? Much good comes from some of these ministries. Powerful truths, worship and impact can be found there. Is that enough for me to wholeheartedly endorse them? No. Is the danger I sense enough to renounce them? No. So, here I remain, in the valley of disturbance, waiting on God to give me revelation on how or if to deal more directly with it. That may come soon or never. But let it be known that I sense something is off, and those under the influence of these ministries should use great wisdom and discernment while also being life-giving and honoring.
Addressing error without compromising our credibility
The need for people who rightly divide the truth is only going to escalate as the end-times season we are in continues to unfold. These Bereans are valuable and it would do us all well to embrace the opportunity to analyze our belief systems and to grow.
Instead, all over social media especially, we see critical and arrogant spirits assaulting others they disagree with theologically. For Christians to be rude and to operate in a spirit of accusation makes one wonder if they are saved at all. In fact, the moment we utilize methods of communication that contradict the fruits of the Spirit, we lose our credibility. Fortunately, there are many people who confirm their credibility by debating and discussing with love and honor. Communicating with them is a pleasure. However, all too often, supposed guardians of theology are zeroed in on proving their point and on shaming all who disagree. On the contrary, the shame is on them as they attempt to demoralize and invalidate people’s ministry. The focus is on mistakes, errors, disagreements and weaknesses instead of building them up, honoring them and encouraging them in the Lord.
10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Romans 12:10 (ESV)
As one who absolutely affirms bold and provocative messages, I’m dismayed that so many who name the name of Jesus presume boldness equates to cruelty and divisiveness. Haters and debaters who are driven by a contentious agenda against those they disagree with are doing great damage to the church. Strangely, they presume to be the champions of truth, knights in shining armor who are to be celebrated for defending their absolutely “perfect” view of Scripture. They presume themselves to be Bereans when in reality they are aligning themselves with a dark spirit of accusation and assault. These are no Bereans. They are, in fact, Thessalonians.

The weird and wonderful realm of the supernatural may contain the key to your breakthrough!
I refuse to tone down the activity of the Holy Spirit out of respect of those less hungry. That’s been a commitment of my ministry for years. I also refuse to disinvite the Holy Spirit when the manifestations cross the line of our human comfort. In fact, I believe many people will be held accountable for limiting the Holy Spirit in the name of biblical order. Simply, we need God to move in other worldly power!
Evangelism and church growth strategies have gone off the rails in an attempt to close the sale.
Enough. The church has been failing far too miserably for far too long in one specific area—dressing up Jesus.
This tragedy is rooted in movements that refuse to embrace the severity of God. Their infatuation with emotional love, intimacy and connection to the exclusion of an inner tremble and utter brokenness that can only come from a revelation of the terror of the Lord has compromised a generation.
This puppy dog, cuddly Jesus that so many yearn for is a fantasy. If the extent of your relationship with God is enjoying his kindness and goodness to the exclusion of his terror and severity, you actually may be developing intimacy with an angel of light instead of the lover of your soul.
In a generation marked by child killing, illicit sexual sin, rampant rebellion and a society that's growing more wicked by the hour, many pastors are remaining silent.
I share seven reasons why pastors are refusing to wield a prophetic blade against the enemies of today. They are silent, passive and disengaged and it's time for them to either repent and awaken or to step aside.
Slaughtering anything that threatens what people value is next on Satan’s plan for America.
I’ve been saying for years that we are moving closer and closer to a reality in our nation that includes killing children well after they have been born. The only requirement for that medically sanctioned prescription to kill our children is proof of hardship, threat or inconvenience. If our way of living is negatively affected by our children, the option to eliminate them may be afforded us if something doesn’t change, and fast.

If God is awakening people to the power of prayer, why aren’t the prayer rooms full? If there is a growing remnant of people who yearn to encounter God and to contend for the passions of his heart night and day, why do pastors have such a hard time compelling them to come together for corporate intercession? It’s a great question. I believe I have a handful of answers.
A message on how to handle our various assignments in ministry. Some plant, and may never see impact, increase or fulfillment of the vision. As they pass the baton, those who water can experience the fulfillment of the call in that region as God brings increase.
