I am Irene Karthik and have set out on this journey to bring out stories, perspectives from all around the globe on kindness and the humane element in us How might we spread kindness in our workplaces and communities? Is kindness too much of an ask? How do we nourish the human element and walk along with the progress? Across this journey, I speak to people of different ages, cultures, to get more perspectives and identify areas for change for the large goal of this project.

Today’s episode is special as we conclude season 3 of the podcast. I have with me two young entrepreneurs who are making their mark in their own way. In Conversation with Divya Singhal and Navjor Kaur Thind from the Sharealittle Giving Platform.

Divya Singhal is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and a social entrepreneur by choice. She began her career as an audit assistant at EY where she worked for 3 years followed by a 2.5-year stint in Equity Research at a Mumbai-based Broking House. To bring alive her compassion for humanity, she along with her friend, Trishla Pareek co-founded a non-profit crowdfunding platform called ShareALittle in November-2020.

Navjot Kaur is an award-winning, LA-based filmmaker with a focus on production, screenwriting, and animation. She earned a Bachelors of Arts (Hons.) from Royal Holloway, the University of London in Media Arts, and an MFA in Film from College of Visual and Performing Arts, Syracuse University. She primarily explores the representation of minorities and young children in narrative storytelling. Her latest short film, On This Side, shows the difficulties for students from poorer backgrounds during the COVID19 pandemic and how we can help them to overcome the challenges.

ShareALittle endeavors to raise Rs. 25,000 per student for 12 students for the advancement of their careers.  Michael Lee is the founder of Innotivity Institute. An internationally accredited Creativity Coach, Life Coach, Executive Coach, NLP Practitioner, and a long-time educator, Michael has years of experience in the TV and film industry in many roles: Screenwriter, Director, Producer, Story Consultant, and Script Editor He has worked extensively in Europe, the USA, and Africa.

He is the creator and lead trainer of The Innovation Explosion, a step-by-step creativity training that has doubled participants’ creativity levels and led to their rapid fulfillment of previously-stuck projects.

 Michael began his career as a script analyst for Castle Rock Pictures in Hollywood before moving to Prague, where he co-founded the international literary magazine TRAFIKA. He is the recipient of a Ford Foundation Fellowship and an Individual Artist Grant from the NY State Council on the Arts.He has taught at AFDA, WITS, and NEMISA, and created the program of the Academy of TV in Johannesburg, where he served as Head of School and Head of Development at various junctures. He has directed numerous reality shows and documentaries in Africa, including as co-creator of the 4x SAFTA-winning Jam Sandwich.

 He founded the Innotivity Institute that helps individuals and organisations "create their creativity".
