In this episode our guest is the lovely, wise and spiritual Mrs. Lolita Jardeleza. Originally from the Philippines already at the age of two she lost her mom and was raised by her grandparents. Post WWII the family moved to the US where she became a US citizen and met her late husband. Together they have 11 children, 46 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Mrs. Jardeleza is the author of the book "Compost Makes the Strawberries Grow" in which she shares her wisdom on parenting. She is also the Prayer Minister at the Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, Maryland.

Episode 08 - Bill Bierling
In this episode our guest is the humble, in many ways unconventional and well respected high-altitude mountaineer Billi Bierling. Originally from Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria, Billi lives half of her life in Kathmandu, Nepal, where she maintains the Himalayan Database as a journalist and accompanies expeditions either to basecamps or sometimes even to the summit. The other half of her life she works as a humanitarian worker for the Swiss Development Agency in various locations, most recently in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Her first accomplishment in her fascinating career was a certificate as shop assistant. Billi's latest achievement was the summiting of the 8201 meter high Cho Oyu peak without using an oxygen mask.
