A Prophetic Word of Encouragement from Cindy Hyde

In today’s world we have the greatest power in the universe within us and at our disposal. LOVE. God is LOVE and He is working all things out for our good. For your good. Seek His face, turn your back on the enemy who chases you down to devour you. His roar is loud and powerful but he has already lost. God wins!

COVID-19 Scriptures to Comfort and Encourage You

So then, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34 (NET)

Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 (NRSV)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 (ESV)

When I needed the LORD, I looked for Him; I called out to Him, and He heard me and responded. He came and rescued me from everything that made me so afraid. Psalm 34:4 (VOICE)

I will extol the LORD at all times;
   his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the LORD;
   let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the LORD with me;
   let us exalt his name together.

I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
   he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;
   their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor man called, and the LORD heard him;
   he saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,
   and he delivers them.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
   blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Fear the Lord, you, his holy people,
   for those who fear him lack nothing.
Psalm 34:1-9 (NIV)

[Jesus said,] Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 (NIV)

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith so that you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (CEB)

E:17 God's Healing Word

E:17 God's Healing Word

God’s Healing Word
by Cindy Hyde, MA

Jesus said it was the sick who needed a physician (Mt 9:12). He is our great Physician. He is the LORD that heals us (Ps 30:2). God wants us healthy in every way possible and He wants our soul to prosper (III Jn 2).
Therefore, He sent His WORD, which is His Son Jesus Christ (Jn 1:1; Rev. 19:13), to heal us and deliver us from all of our destructions (Ps 107:20). His Living WORD (Jesus Christ) truly is health to all our flesh (Pr 4:20-22). In Him we live and move and have our being (Ac 17:28).
God sent His Son Jesus Christ to destroy the works of the devil (I Jn 3:8b; Acts 10:38). Jesus bore our griefs and carried our sorrows; He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; He took our infirmities and our sicknesses from us (Mt 8:17b), and with His stripes we were and are healed (Is 53:4-5; I Pt 2:24). He forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases (Ps 103:3). Nothing is too hard for the Lord (Gn 18:14). All things are possible when we believe (Mk 9:23).
We are assured that God hears and answers us while we are still crying out to Him (Is 65:24). We know that the prayers of the righteous avails much (Ja 5:16). We have this confidence in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will (III Jn 2), He hears us, and we know we have the petitions we desire of Him. (I Jn 5:14, 15).
There are many who are sick and dying because of a breach in a relationship with God, themselves, or others. With the power of the Holy Spirit (Ac 1:8) and His gifts (I Co. 12:7-11), body, soul, spirit, mind, will, and emotions are healed by the power of God ( ) Jesus asked the impotent man at the Pool of Bethesda “Wilt thou be make whole? (Jn 5:6). The man was made whole. We are made whole by the same power. It is God's will to comfort, bless and heal His children (Lk 5:12c; Jn 5:1-9).
Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus we are crying out to You in faith, believing You are not only hearing us but answering us while we yet speak, You are our Great Physician. You are the Lord who heals us, who forgives us all of our iniquities, all of our sins, and our transgressions. Come Lord and deliver us out of our destructions. Your Word is health to all our flesh. We receive Your Word and declare that in Him we move, and live, and have our being. We believe all things are possible with You Lord. We know that by the stripes Jesus bore upon His back we were healed.
Thank you that when we ask You hear us, and answer us out of Your great mercy and loving kindness. We place our confidence in You, Lord, and in You alone. You are the God who heals us. We want to be made us whole. We ask You to make us whole in every area of our lives. Heal us oh Lord and we will be healed.

That You Father that the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ courses through our bodies removing all uncleanness, all infirmity, all sickness, all disease, all effects of sin, all residue of our sinful nature. Cleanse us Lord as we submit and yield ourselves to you and resist the enemy. You and You alone are God, the One Who was, and is, and is to come. We thank You Lord, we bless your Holy name and give You praise for all honor, all glory and all praise belong to You. Amen.

Jeremiah 17:14 AMP Heal me, O Lord , and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, For You are my praise.

Psalms 107:19‭-‬43 AMP Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them from their distresses.  He sent His word and healed them, And rescued them from their destruction. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness, And for His wonderful acts to the children of men!  And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And speak of His deeds with shouts of joy! Those who go down to the sea in ships, Who do business on great waters; They have seen the works of the Lord , And His wonders in the deep.  For He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, Which lifted up the waves of the sea. They went up toward the heavens [on the crest of the wave], they went down again to the depths [of the watery trough]; Their courage melted away in their misery.  They staggered and trembled like a drunken man, And were at their wits’ end [all their wisdom was useless]. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He brought them out of their distresses. He hushed the storm to a gentle whisper, So that the waves of the sea were still.  Then they were glad because of the calm, And He guided them to their desired haven (harbor). Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness, And for His wonderful acts to the children of men! Let them exalt Him also in the congregation of the people, And praise Him at the seat of the elders.  He turns rivers into a wilderness, And springs of water into a thirsty ground; A productive land into a [barren] salt waste, Because of the wickedness of those who dwell in it. He turns a wilderness into a pool of water And a dry land into springs of water; And there He has the hungry dwell, So that they may establish an inhabited city,  And sow fields and plant vineyards, And produce an abundant harvest. Also He blesses them so that they multiply greatly, And He does not let [the number of] their cattle decrease. When they are diminished and bowed down (humbled) Through oppression, misery, and sorrow, He pours contempt on princes And makes them wander in a pathless wasteland.  Yet He sets the needy securely on high, away from affliction, And makes their families like a flock. The upright see it and rejoice; But all unrighteousness shuts its mouth. Who is wise? Let him observe and heed these things; And [thoughtfully] consider the lovingkindness of the Lord.

17 It happened on one of those days, that he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal them. 18 Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before Jesus. 19 Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the midst before Jesus. 20 Seeing their faith, he said to him, "Man, your sins are forgiven you." 21 The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?" 22 But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, "Why are you reasoning so in your hearts? 23 Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you;' or to say, 'Arise and walk?' 24But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" (he said to the paralyzed man), "I tell you, arise, and take up your cot, and go to your house." 25Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God. 26Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen strange things today."

Intro: (00:00)
You're listening to the Healing Word Podcast with Cindy Hyde. Welcome to today's episode.

Cindy: (00:09)
Do you know what? All of the successful people had trials and tribulations that they had to overcome before they became successful, didn't they? And still had trials and tribulations. Ahhh then had trials and tribulations so that doesn't change, does it? No, it just, So what do we base our success on then? Our relationship with God, hearing God's voice, obeying Him, and being strong and courageous. Like God told him Moses, well I'm sure he told Moses that too, but he told Joshua twice in those seven or eight versus be strong and courageous, be strong and courageous. And don't fear. Hmmmhummm.

Joanie: (00:50)
Because you know, when I first started as a young woman, I was so fearful. I mean, I wouldn't even go to the door unless my husband would we come in and open the door for me? I was fearful about everything. I didn't know how to do anything. And as I grew in the Lord. You know, the fear just seems to subside. Thank God it just subsides. Because God didn't give us that spirit of fear did He? What did He give us? Power, love, and a sound mind. Amen. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord.

Somebody asked me one time, well, how do you know when you're right with God? How do you, what gauge do you use to determine if you're okay or if you're like need to bump it up or step it up a little and I thought for a second, and I thought, you know when I wake up the first thing in the morning, if God is on my mind and I'm, I'm praying, as soon as my eyes open or even before and I'm communing with the Lord, then I know I'm okay. But whatever there is on my mind when I wake up that's not Him, I've got a problem. I've got issues and that thing, whatever it is, that worry, that stress, that fear, that anxiousness even about something good happening, it doesn't necessarily have to be negative, but whatever it is taking His place is not right. It's not right. I need to recalibrate myself. I need to get back into balance and center myself on Christ again.

E:11 Are You Living Your Life With Purpose

E:11 Are You Living Your Life With Purpose

The Healing Word Podcast with Cindy Hyde
Episode 11: Are You Living Your Life With Purpose
Cindy Hyde and Joanie Buchanan

Hi. Welcome to today's podcast.

Well, my question is, are you living your life with purpose? Are you just letting a day come and go and another day come and go and you look back on your life and say, what have I really accomplished? What have I really done? Um, and that's one of the reasons why I encouraged Joanie so much and just really kind of like, okay, uh, after four years it's time to get this project done, so let's do it - let's put all of her devotionals in a book. So she could have it as a legacy. She also has all of her radio programs and all of her TV programs that are going to be available long after she's gone. That's a beautiful legacy and what a beautiful example for those of us coming up after her. She's not quite a generation older than I am, but you know, if we think of generational blessings, what kind of blessing are you leaving for the generation that's coming up after you?

How are you willing to live your life on purpose with purpose, God's purpose, not your purpose? To be purposeful, to live a life intentionally, to be a blessing to others, to share the gospel with others and to love and serve others. And you know, there's just no greater thing. And I know Joanie will absolutely agree, that there's no greater thing on the face of this earth than being able to live in peace with your God and to know that you're doing everything you can to serve Him and to be able to be a blessing, to be obedient.

I know there's been a lot of things that He's told me to do. I remember in the mid-nineties when He said He wanted me to write a book, and I'm like, 'I don't know how to write a book'. And He says, "No, but I do." And I thought, 'I guess you do don't you!' It tickled me, and so have the other conversations that He and I have had.

My first book - A Woman of Acts - was born out of that calling, that literal voice of God saying write a book. I want you to write a book and it was out of the book of Acts about how we can be stronger as women, uh, by doing what the Bible says. And it's just an interesting time that I shared with the Lord. But that's just one small example.

I just see women that are sitting around at home and they're bored and they think they don't have a life and they don't think that they have anything that they can contribute. Well, I promise you that you do. I don't care if your contribution is going to the House of God on Sunday mornings and loving on the people that come through the door, to hug their neck, and to smile at them. And you know, we don't know how many people are sitting at home that never get a hug. We are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves, and I believe part of the reason for that is to get the love and the encouragement from one another that we so desperately need.

Living your life with purpose is not hard. Find the will of God for your life and then do it.

E:10 It's What's in the Heart that Matters

It's What's in the Heart that Matters
Cindy Hyde and Joanie Buchanan
Real Talk with Joanie and Cindy

Cindy: If you are not as tall as you want to be or as short, those things really don't matter because I think Joanie said at the beginning of the show, it's what's in your heart that matters. And that's what the Lord looks upon. That's what others really see. They might think, oh she's really big, but if they look and for just that moment they see what's in your heart then you've got them. If the love of God is in your heart they will see it. Don't get all wrapped up in all those physical kinds of insecurities.

Cindy: Because I want to tell you something: The Lord thinks you are absolutely, ravishingly beautiful just like you are. There is no one else like you. You are unique, even down to the individual freckles on your little nose, you are adorable to Him. He wants you to be secure in him. And I don't think there's really, and I know Joanie will agree with me. I don't think there's anything more beautiful than to see a woman walk in a room with confidence. I'm not talking about being cocky. I'm not talking about being full of herself. I'm talking about a woman who carries herself with confidence. That she knows who she is and she's not afraid of what other people may think. She is self-assured because of her relationship with the Lord. Humility has to go along with that. And, and when you have a healthy respect for yourself, then you do have that humility.

Joanie: That is so true. And you know, it really permeates. It real. It's like a fragrant and the room. Uh, when you see someone come in and you just know, hey, there's something different about that person. That's not what they look like on the outside. It's just, uh, you can feel it can't you, and it's a spirit of God in that person that they're just releasing the spirit of God. To be what God wants him to be.

Joanie: And when you pray, say, Lord, show me how you see me, not how my family sees me or my friends or my school. Just show me how you see me and help me to go forward in that instead of what people have said about me. And you said that right too. Because confidence is not somebody who thinks that they're better than other people who try to overrule people or anything like that.

Cindy: Yeah. It's not easy to learn to live without insecurities. But my thing is you learned to live with them. You learned how to be insecure. So it's just a choice. Learn to be secure. But place your security in the Lord Jesus.

Ministering to others is challenging when we do not know what to say or what to do when someone is in crisis or when we want to share our faith with others. Two things that will always help you is to be sincere when you share your faith or when you encourage others. Secondly, share the love of Christ instead of condemnation.

    I Peter 2:24, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

     The WORD says you were healed. Sickness is a curse of the law, and Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us....” Matthew 8:17 says, “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” He took your infirmities and bare your sicknesses. Learn to read the scriptures with a personal identification. Isaiah 53:5 says, "...with his stripes we are healed.” With His stripes YOU ARE HEALED. Someone said, “Yes, but you don’t understand. I don’t feel healed and I really don’t look healed.” That person has been programmed by the world system, the five physical senses. The WORD is not IN them. They may know about the WORD, they may even believe the Word is true, but until it becomes a part of them, it is not in them. Yes, I do understand. You are motivated by your feelings and not by the WORD of GOD.

     I have heard some folks say, “Pray for me, I’m taking the flu.” They’ve got it termed right; they are taking it. Satan offered it to them. He said, “You’ve got a runny nose, and a neck ache; now, let’s see what you’re going to say about it.” Then most people will side with the devil and begin to say the very thing he said. “I am taking a cold.”

     The WORD says, “...In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”   (II Corinthians 13:1) You may have a runny nose. You may have aches all over. That is how you feel, but what are you going to say about it?

     God’s Word is forever settled in heaven; it is already established there. “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.” (Psalm 119:89)

     The first thing most people do is to go tell their wife or husband, “I believe I’m taking the flu.” You have released faith in sickness. You have established the words of the enemy. And Jesus said you can have what you say. The WORD, in essence, said the tongue will cause the healing power to stop. It will set on fire the wheels of lineage, or that which you have inherited. What you have inherited is natural healing power in your body. Now don’t misunderstand me. I am not talking about divine healing at this point, but the natural healing ability of the human body. Then all things being level, all things being right, and without satan involved, any sickness that comes upon your body — your body will cast it off and heal itself.

     That healing ability is in your body. But satan has come on the scene, and he distorts these things, and he has found out that his ability is limited to what he can get you to say. Jesus said you can have what you say. Not many Christians know that, but satan knows that, and he believes it...
