Episode 10 Personification… Who??! What??!!
Fun to do with kids 5 years old to 9 years old with parents 10 and up can do on their own.
So what is personification? In literary terms it is when we give non-human things human characteristics and attributes. So much fun to be had!! and you don't need lots a cash to do it with! Episode 9 Detective Profiling
For 5 to 9 years old should be done with parent 10 years old and up can do it on their own.

Episode 8 Cornell Sketchnotes! YES!!!
For 11 years old and up
Adding sketchnotes in the top portion will be great for visual references and get their creative side going. This type of note taking also will trigger different processing power because they are not just passively taking information but are actively responding with what they are learning. Remember it will be a slow start please have patience it will be worth it.

Episode 7 Annotations to Cornell Notes!!
The Cornell method of notetaking offers several advantages. Not only will they have more organized notes. It allows students to quickly identify key words and key concepts from what they were studying. It gets the information into both short and long term memory by having them rewrite their highlights in their own words this will force them recall what they were reading.

Drawing, Drawing, and more Drawing! Storyboards are a great activity to sum up a unit or to measure comprehension of a concept you taught and synthesize learning since pictures is how we think and process information.

Episode 2 Annotating texts for better reading comprehension
This episode is for ages 8 and up
Annotating is an interactive learning strategy that will help improve comprehension and retention of information. This technique is going to help build curiosity and teach them how to ask intentional questions. Annotations promote a deeper understanding of passages and encourage students to read with a purpose. As a teachers you can use annotations to emphasize crucial literacy skills like visualization, asking questions, and making inferences. The main thing is that your child becomes engaged and is interactive with their reading.
