Dan and Jenny chat about cancel culture in this first episode of two. 

Dan treats us with his talent of "doing voices" Then the conversation leads to the topics of scaring people, aka; Nothing scares me: challenge accepted. Jenny and Dan also chat about being hyper critical of their work, how to be "artful", Chess, dance, hairstyling and fashion. ending with their retirement plans.

Dan and Jenny chat topics include;  Cheese, being horrible dinner guests, missing performances, what we will do first  when it is safe, supporting the Arts and pay to play. 

Jenny and Dan get together and talk about the Yukon winter's beauty, Ravens, cats and dogs. Is it better to love the same things or hate the same things? Angry sex, Sex work, socializing in schools and Stilton cheese.

Dan and Jenny, being long time friends, will check in on each other. This time they recorded it, their first 2021 check in with each other.  They talk about dealing with stress, or not dealing with it, seeking comfort and distractions, always talking from experience, not judgement, and ways we can be good to ourselves and each other.

Dan and Jenny answer some questions from a friend of Dan's. 1) no Covid talk...mostly done.. more of a request than a question. 2) Why is Snow White, or is it why "Snow White", they answer one 3) What do they think of Yukon drivers... for those easily offended by swear words, this is where you will be triggered. Brace yourself! 4) How are they managing so far in 2020. This is a loaded question that springs up many topics for Jenny and Dan, who then answer all the questions of what is bad in the world, the root issues and eventually leads back to them answering the original question. Dan and Jenny talk about immigrants and diversity, and missing visiting cities.  They delve into the health risks of wearing masks and chat about how humans are resistant to change, such as seat belt laws.  They also speak about family who have sacrificed during other world events and how that has left them everything, especially grateful.

We speak with artist and entrepreneur Dan Hill about life in Vancouver during the pandemic, and how it differs from the Yukon. Dan and Dan reminisce about their friendship's early days as roommates and art school students. Its a nice trip down memory lane, even if you don't have the memories for various reasons.

We get a visit from Daisy to Pug, who pulls up on a motorcycle. So, of course we talk about dogs. The conversation touches on Canadian versus American politics, then we talk about "talking Good Shit" and we finish with the evil of greeting cards and how to pretentious when sharpening your pencil.

We continue our chat with Dr. Grant Zazula. We talk Giant Beavers, yah a real thing! We get into his work in Old Crow Yukon, and touch on how scientist and artist are the same, very dedicated and maybe a bit nuts. And again, GIANT BEAVERS!

We sit down with Dr. Grant Zazula, the Yukon's head Paleontologist.  We talk about his life getting to  the Yukon and his work here.  Grant is an encyclopedia of knowledge, and we just scratched the surface of what he knows. He has taught us life long Yukoners a thing or two about what is under the ground beneath our feet.  A super incredible guy, we love chatting with him and we hope you enjoy it too.

In early 2018, Dan and Jenny sat down with their amazing friend Carolyn to talk about how she has moved through the world as a Yukoner.  Her time in Indonesia, Africa, Australia, Singapore and now in Calgary, and the wonderful foods in each place. Carolyn is an incredible cook. We ask her thoughts in how these travels have changed her and/or strengthened her core beliefs that all people deserve equality.  But mostly we talk about food, food and more food.  

We talk about spending money, who buys 4 packs of toilet paper and idiots in the woods.  Mostly we talk about soap, and how it has changed Dan's life, possibly not for the better! Nothing deep or heavy, just a b.s. session!

We continue our chat with our friend Brian.  Speaking about his childhood in Dawson City, Yukon, moving away from the Yukon after high school.  Why we all love the city gay communities and why it is important to buy better alcohol when you get older.  Our hang overs were brutal that morning!

Our message about the struggles in the USA and our home country of Canada during the protest and riots over the murder of George Floyd.  We stand together, we stand in front when we are needed, we hear you, we see you, we fight with you, we love you.

Christmas 2017 we sat down with the fabulous Brian Hanulik to discuss growing up in the Yukon, leaving the Yukon and how being an expat Yukoner can be an incredible journey. Disclaimer: a few of us had bad colds, and a couple of us had a bad hang over.  It was the holiday season after all.
