The Farewell
The JJN Show is saying farewell for now. Maybe someday we will be back, but for now, this is farewell.
Episode 69 - Carter Michaelson Interview!
Carter is someone that Jacob met a few years ago through one of his marketing internships and has stayed in touch with over the past years.
They dive right into Carter’s upbringing, specifically with sports and how his sports career helped shape him into the person he is today. They discuss High School through college and the various challenges he faced. You will learn a lot about how passionate he is in life through this conversation.
From there, they go over his career path thus far and talk about how, like Jacob, is not in a direct “marketing” role even though that was his major. Instead, Carter talks about how he got into financial planning and why he went the route he did.
Carter and Jacob go in depth on financial planning. Including what it is, who should have a financial planner, the importance of keeping track of your finances and much more!
Stick around to the end to hear Carter’s advice to the younger generation!

Episode 26 - Foodist Films Interview!
What’s up goobinski’s! Josh here. This week I sat down with Alex and Steve of Foodist Films for an interview in their studio located in St. Paul, MN. Foodist Films is a team of visual food storytellers creating world-class food videography content that generates brand awareness, educates customers, improves SEO rankings, and dazzles existing fans. The team at Foodist Films works in a restorative environment, placing food, art, and film right in the center of everything they do.
We began talking about the business side of things - where Foodist started, how things got rolling, mistakes/advice for others who are interested in creating a business, and where Alex and Steve see Foodist going. We then jumped into more personal, behind the business topics as Alex and Steve are adventurers with plenty of exctiting stories to share. We’re excited to share this interview with everyone! Oh, and this interview is pretty RAW so you’ll hear some noises from the large open studio.
