He talks about the unique journey he has traveled so far from being a child with no food to building an organization that caters to the needs of vulnerable children and women. Ivarah Itofa built an organization,
church on the street at just nineteen years old with four friends to tackle food insecurity for Children around Sub Saharan Africa. Today his organization serves over a thousand vulnerable children in Nigeria through local independent food pantries and Foodbanks. He designs sustainable projects for vulnerable women and children across Sub Saharan Africa to tackle malnutrition, illiteracy, and poverty in nexus with the United Nations sustainable development goal program, World food Program report, and UNICEF.

Ivarah Itofa has spoken on sustainability and child care advocacy at the HiveAfrica Global Leaders Program, 2019, Lagos. United Nations Regional Youth dialogue, 2019, Edo. He was named Nigeria's Youngest Social entrepreneur, 2019.

On this episode, Wadi Ben-Hirki talks about how to pull through difficult situations with a positive attitude. She also talks about how to build a team that buys into your vision. You can only go as far a your team is willing to go with you. To ace your management skills, jump right in to listen.

Wadi Ben-Hirki is a development worker, writer and public speaker. She is the Lead volunteer of Wadi Ben-Hirki Foundation and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Covenant University. She has been trained by the Satyagraha Institute on non-violence, peace building and conflict resolution and the Youth Organizing School on policy advocacy & civic engagement.

Wadi is an Ashoka change maker and served as a ONE champion for two years. In 2017, she was the focal point for Canada High Commission’s #SheCANLead campaign in Nigeria. In 2016, she participated in the African Union’s Regional Consultation on Human Rights with a major focus on Women’s Rights. She was a youth delegate at the Global Partnership for Education Financing Conference 2018 and served as a Special Guest on education & skills for the 21st century at the Y20 Summit 2018. She also participated in the 2018 United States Institute of Peace (USIP) Generation Change Fellowship with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

She currently sits on the African Leadership Institute Youth Advisory Board and serves as a Country Representative for the Chatham House Common Futures Conversations. She is a recipient of Your Best Life scholarship program.

Wadi is a 2019 Diana Award Holder and was one of the recipients of the World Youth Forum Award 2018 which was presented by H.E President AbdelFattah El-Sisi (President of Egypt). She emerged as one of the winners of the Thailand Village Academy Competition 2019. She was enlisted as one of the 100 Most Influential Young Africans in 2018. Some of her awards include the Ribena Good Values Awards Hero 2018, Her Network Woman of the Future Award 2017, The Ebony Life TV Sisterhood Advocate and People’s Choice of the Year Awards 2017, Top 10 young people in Africa working towards achieving Gender Justice and Reconciliation Award and Civil Society Award 2017.

Wadi has been nominated on several occasions and has volunteered for a few organizations that focus on education, gender equality and peace which are her major areas of knowledge, interest and expertise.

Oluwafolajimi Adesanya is the Chief Administrator of
The Panacea Project, a social research organization currently deploying the tools of research and policy development to drive the sustainable development of the African continent.

At 22, he is a Fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative West African Regional Leadership Centre in Accra, a member of the 2018 Association of Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) Student Task Force in Basel, Switzerland, and is a 2018 Alumnus of the Clinton Global Initiative University. He is a Resolution Project Fellow, a Young Utopian of the Young Utopians e.V in Berlin, and a One Young World Ambassador on the Audi Environmental Foundation Scholarship. He is a One Young World Ambassador and he attended the 2019 Summit in the UK, where he had the opportunity to share his views as a Delegate Speaker on the Planetary Health Plenary answering the question: How is Climate Change endangering our Health. In June of 2019, he was named one of the 1,000 global SDGs talents of the UNLEASH Innovation Lab under the SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing Track.

A budding medical researcher, he has published works in the fields of maternal and child health, infectious diseases, and recently genomics and bioinformatics.
