Charlie De La Paz is a Las Vegas native, mother of four, and a fierce activist with a long track record of getting things done for parents.  She tells us about growing up, being married to a police officer, the difference between CCSD as a student and what she observed as a concerned parent, finally leading to help found Power2Parent with Erin Phillips and 2,000 other parents.  Now she is running for assembly.  We talk everything CCSD and education before learning about the rest of her platform in a race crowded with Republicans since Annie Black announced her intentions to try out for Washington D.C. during Red Wave '22.

Jon Petrick turns out to be one of the most interesting and intelligent interviews we have had.  Jon grew up in Western Pennsylvania as a dyslexic student athlete, succeeded in school, had a horrific car accident which led to his calling as a doctor, and since then has accomplished so much.  From helping everyone he meets through love and compassion to being on UFC reality shows and hosting his own show, Dr. Petrick's true spirit animal is patriot.  Find out why he has decided to lead us through this trying time.

Erin Phillips is the cofounder and president of Power2Parent, a parent "union" created to represent the will of parents, who care for their children more than anyone else ever could.  We talk about her organization and go through the week's headlines of gun shootouts and vicious beatings running rampant through Clark County School District (CCSD) Schools.  We also discuss masks on children, CCEA, NEA, and what's the difference between book burning and having input on curriculum.  Who should decide what our children are exposed to?

Nick Fedei began a group called Make CCSD Great Again in order to find a way to replace our current school board.  He outlines the steps necessary for a recall but also presents a much more expedient idea as he exposes criminal and unethical behavior regarding board members and their campaigns which could result in resignation or dismissal.  TJBS has not verified every statement made my Nick.  Coverage you only get on TJBS!

Unfortunately, General Milley and Secretary Austin have lost the confidence of the American people.  While no one ever takes responsibility for the Afghanistan debacle, at least they had to face the music at a congressional hearing.

The Democrats are the party of diversity and inclusiveness, but only if you completely agree with everything you are told to agree with.  Just ask Krysten Sinema and Joe Manchin.  They are being excoriated by their party which is a problem with such narrow majorities in both houses.  Let's watch them throw mud on each other and pray they are not able to spend our children's money.
