This past week, pro-Trump supporters moved in on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. and stormed inside - putting many people across America at unease. Because of his encouragement to let the politicians know that they aren't ok with him losing the election, this prompted Facebook and Twitter to ban President Trump forever from their platform. Is this the right call, or is there something else we should be concerned about moving forward? Also, were these protestors or were they violent thugs who can't accept defeat in the form of a election? Disney and Pixar's animated film "Soul" has recently come out, but with a slight criticism that seems to be ignored by mainstream media. People are recognizing a seemingly familiar trope that "Soul", along with other  movies like "The Princess and the Frog", and "Spies in Disguise" are misleading by having a black animated lead character, but then covering  up their blackness and their culture by having them transform  into...something else. As time presses on towards a vaccine for the COVID-19 virus being discussed on how to be given out to Americans, I was dealt with another blow of what's to potentially come. I was told that I couldn't physically come back in to one of my jobs until I took a test showing hard proof that I was 'Negative'. If this is potentially what's to come, then what's to stop them from saying I, or any other worker, can't come in unless they've been vaccinated? Where else will this happen throughout America? Spanking can be a divisive issue when spoken amongst family, friends, and strangers. The divide usually falls within whether it's effective or not. Adrian Peterson, a professional Running Back in the NFL who plays for the Detroit Lions, was in hot water in 2014 when he used a switch to spank his son. But by a similar increase in voters, black women came out to vote for Donald Trump, as well. Why aren't they talking about that? The world is on fire as they watched a man handcuffed on the ground, beg and plead for the police officer to get his knee off of his neck. 8 minute and 46 seconds later, an eerily quiet George Floyd is laying lifeless on the ground...dead. The officer finally getting up off of his neck. What followed is a maelstrom of protests, riots, and criticisms against the way America has always and continues to police the black community. I touch on the history of racism, why it's taken so long for a conversation that's mostly avoided to reach this level of an explosion, and the impact that George Floyd's public execution has had on the world, at large, who watched it go down in initial disbelief to horrific realization. On Friday, May 22nd, 2020, the presidential nominee and former Vice President, Joe Biden, was a guest on popular radio show, "The Breakfast Club", and suggested that if any person within the black community had to question who to  vote for between him or Donald Trump, that they simply aren't black. Not too long ago, President Donald J. Trump was acquitted in the impeachment trail that had the attention of the entire United States.
