Distractions, my own worst enemy.
Does this sound like a typical day for you? You're getting ready to write. Sitting down at your keyboard, you crack your knuckles, stretch your wrists and .. BING! The phone chimes. A kid calls out because "he touched my bear!" The garbage truck drives by, reminding you that OH CRAP! You need to get the trash out! Maybe someone decided to park in front of your house blaring their stereo so loud your computer thinks you're typing.
