The amazing Clara Galan from Adobe takes some time to chat with me about Creativity. It is a fun conversation with some great tidbits of information for educators out there looking for resources to support the learning of creative tools. Adobe Spark is a great example of a wonderful tool that has done awesome things in supporting students exploring their creative ideas. Judd Winick, cartoonist-creator of the bestselling HILO graphic novel series, returns to A2CAF for the second time; a self-described reality TV has-been, he’s done all kinds of storytelling ranging from animation to graphic novels to superhero comics to daily comic strips. 

We spend time talking about creativity, the writing and revision process, the Monomyth by Joseph Campbell, support student creativity, and other nerdy goodness. Check out HILO because it is amazing!

Kicking off Season 2 with one of my favorite people! Jess is an amazing educator who wears lots of hats. She is a former ELA teacher, she is a tech integrator, media teacher, and overall awesome person. She can be found on the Twitter at @JLenore24 and Keynoting various EdTechTeam events around the globe.

Here is a quick preview of what is in store for Season 2. We will be exploring the idea of creativity and what that looks like in and out of the classroom. I will be connecting with educators and non-educators to get a sense of what creativity means from many different perspectives.
