S.3 Ep.12: Deirdra Burley - Cancel Culture in Education

Join me as I sit down with Deirdra Burley to discuss cancel culture in education. She is a Sophomore at Chapman University majoring in strategic and corporate communication with a minor in political science. Burley's passion for politics originated in middle school, but her involvement in politics began when she experienced the impact of cancel culture for being conservative:

"After going through a long battle, fighting students and administration for months, I have only become more vocal in my beliefs. Since the start of college, I have interned for the Lincoln Club Institute in Orange County and am currently interning for Congressman Ken Calvert in Corona. My experience has shown me that I belong in politics, and I hope sharing my message will push other students to want to share their stories too. The more we speak up, the stronger we are when fighting the far left."

Ep. 7: Jennifer Keil - Red Lipstick Research

A few years ago I began examining the history of red lipstick and it remains one of my favorite topics to study. To broaden my research, I began interviewing people about how they feel when they wear red lipstick and/or when they see someone else wearing it. This interview is the first of many that focus on the same research questions. Jennifer Keil agreed to be my guest once again and her insight on the topic was not only helpful but fascinating!
