Serving Your Wife
Serving your wife shouldn’t be a chore or an obligation, but done so with joy all while we are following the commands of Jesus.
In this new episode of The Man Hole, I will be breaking down 10- useful tips for a husband to serve his wife. This doesn’t mean that we lose our manliness because we are serving them. We do this because we are determined to lead our wife and family.
Remember, do this because you love her genuinely and not because you need something from her. Serve her to honor God...Never let her feel that she is a burden to you.

Cyber Relationships: It’s too easy.
“It started with a listening ear and an emotional connection.”
Technological advancements in this modern age are a huge help especially in reaching out to our families and friends who have been away with us for so long. These upgrades in our communications not only brought our loved ones closer to us but also the temptations, ready to haunt us with one click.
We are joined by Tina Konkin, in this episode about Cyber Affairs and Infidelity and why we fall into the Manhole of feeling good with compliments and appreciation from other women. Tina will also share with us the importance of understanding our mutual obligations in our marriage in strengthening our faith and love with our spouses.
Tina is a coach, the founder, and director of Relationship Lifeline. As an author, relationship expert, counselor, and conference speaker, Tina has facilitated hundreds of seminars for youth, adults, couples, and families for over 30 years. Coming from a background of abuse and abandonment, Tina’s passion is to help heal the broken-hearted by giving them a clear path to living the life they’ve always imagined.
Key Takeaways:
- Understanding Cyber Affairs vs. Infidelity, why we should avoid it as it leads us to sin
- Getting to know yourself and your spouse, understanding each other’s roles and responsibilities in your marriage
- Keeping in mind the saying, “If it feels good, it’s wrong” as your one-way ticket away from sin
- Knowing and accepting that something is missing in your marriage and how you could address this to your spouse
- Tina’s realization after his husband’s affair and why she is thankful to the other woman.

Bonus Episode; Radical Amputation
“ It was completely controlling my life”
What’s the noise in your life that needs to go? Distance is your friend. Jesus called for radical amputation when he said pluck our your right eye. Remove what’s cauing your to in or keeping you from getting closer to Him.
This bonus episode is all about, removing the things that are causing you to sin. I will share with you my experience of how I was totally enslaved by my phone. I surrendered control of my phone to my wife.
It might not be your phone that's enslaving you, that causes your distraction, it might be other things. So take this episode as motivation in identifying the root cause because now is the right time and later might be too late.

The Wandering Eyes: The Common Pitfalls of Men
Men are God's creation, and with that, God blessed us with the gift of sight to witness the wonders he created for us. But with this fantastic gift also comes with a price, and that is, we also see things that lead us to sin.
As time goes by, men's view of ones doing evolved over time, and because we are men, we consider "natural" things for us. That's the time we fall into the manhole.
In this episode, I will dive deep into this "natural" thing that we have lustful eyes. I will share with you how we can avoid the sinful desires we men face on a day-to-day basis and how we can protect ourselves with God and our families' help.
Key Takeaways:
- Wandering Eyes; taking control over them as sinful desires
- Common pitfalls that we men fall into and think it's okay, label it as "natural" when in fact it's not
- The ripple effect of your actions from the eyes to the mind
- Integrity; our eyes are also the eyes of God
- Committing sin over an unreachable entity; television shows, magazine figures, etc. that affect your mind and heart
- Protecting your eyes from the provocations around you
- Always putting your wife first and honoring her is the unbendable shield against temptation
Quotes:
- “The eye is the gateway” 2:15
- “Just because it seems natural and we laugh in the banter with it doesn't mean that it's okay.” 5:41
- “Distance is your friend, separate yourself from things that tempt” 3:55
- “Calibrate your relationship daily with Christ to grow closer with your Lord” 4:38
- “It's not about condemnation, it's about his grace in his goodness and forgiveness” 4:51
