#5 - Mens Singles shocks, Shi Yuqi Injury, Japan Open predictions, the LYD-YYS struggle continues

This week me and the regular badminton fanatics discuss the surprising results of the Indonesia open including many shocks in the MS discipline and Shi's ankle injury. We also look forward to the Japan Open with Jan O Jorgensen already knocking out Lin Dan in the first round. We also reflect once again on the re-emergence of Lee Yong Dae with Yoo Yeon Seong and their disheartening loss to new pair Boe and Peterson of Denmark in the Russia Open.

#4 - Denmark's Indonesia Open injuries, Korean Comeback Kids, Ugly Shoes and Racket Talk

#4 - Denmark's Indonesia Open injuries, Korean Comeback Kids, Ugly Shoes and Racket Talk

We'd like to apologise for the poor quality in this episode, especially the last 20 minutes or so. Due to me and Nathan both being away in Asia, we didn't have the usual setup and internet connection was poor. That being said, we had a great chat about the upcoming Indonesia open and some injuries which have forced players like Axelsen to withdraw. We also discussed the two returning Korean pairs and their runs in the US open. Then we shared our thoughts in the new Yonex power cushion shoes, before talking about rackets and my ongoing indecision as to which to buy.

Really hope you enjoy this one and come back soon when we'll have things back to normal. Please leave us a review, comment and follow our twitter account - @MidGameInterval

#2 - China Sudirman shock, Australian Open and some racket talk

This week me and the lads discuss China's shock victory in the Sudirman cup over Japan (a touchy subject for our Japan superfans). We also look towards the Australian Open and review the opening few rounds of the tournament while predicting the winners of this reasonably stacked super 300 tournament. Closing the episode we briefly discuss my racket conundrum as the other two give their ideas on which racket I should buy. Hope you enjoy this episode, please share our podcast with your fellow badminton friends as we plan to upload new episodes regularly!
