Write That Down! : Titus Benton & Stacie Wilkins

Write That Down! : Titus Benton & Stacie Wilkins

***This is not an episode of propaganda. I'm not telling you who to vote for. I'm not into that garbage.***

Titus Benton is an independent write-in candidate for the Texas State House of Representatives in the 132nd District, Stacie Wilkins is his AMAZING campaign treasurer. Together with their team, they are attempting to do something that hasn't been done in a long time! Running for write in candidate for the 132, Titus and Stacie share with me the heart behind this campaign and their vision for the future of our community.

HOWEVER. In our current political climate, there is a constant "Us vs. Them" mentality. I hate that and I don't agree. We are all, "in order to form a more perfect union," invited to vote our conscience and create a better America for one another. I believe We the People are moving towards a collective understanding that we are all Americans, and America can do better than a two-party fist fight and pity party.

Titus is a co-minister in our city and I have observed his practical and highly effective ministry strategies- I've seen them make a lasting and miraculous impact on my hometown over the past decade. Hearing that someone like THAT was running for political office, I wanted to know the why's and I wanted to share them with you.  Bridge building is the most biblical task we can take on- I believe Titus is a proven builder and has some good stuff to say.

Your Neighborhood Anti-Trafficking Coalition Prayer Meeting

Your Neighborhood Anti-Trafficking Coalition Prayer Meeting

You're hearing more about it today, possibly than ever before. Sex trafficking, particularly that of women and children, is real. I have had the privilege of belonging to a community of warriors for the past 5+ years who address human trafficking locally through prayer, support, and righteous action.

This episode is a glimpse into one of our prayer meetings from April, 2020. We believe God is answering our prayers RIGHT NOW. The layers of corruption and deception are being revealed, and this is how we can participate. Pray. It matters. It makes a difference. It has paved the way for the widespread and rapid awareness taking place in our nation.

We invite you to participate in this episode- pray with us, don't just consume the content. Today, in honor of Worldwide Trafficking Awareness Day, July 30, 2020, we raise our voices and declare that people are not for sale, sexuality is more than superficial gratification, women are worth our respect, children are worth our protection.

Mental Health + The Gospel: Part 1 with the BRAVE Scotty Lewis

Mental Health + The Gospel: Part 1 with the BRAVE Scotty Lewis

Mental Health is crucial to our wellbeing as humans.
Scotty and I sit down to discuss what it's like to love Jesus, be fully loved in return, and still deal with the very real effects of mental illness.
How do you function when your mind is "against" you?
What is it like to be mentally ill and still enjoy the benefits of the gospel?
How does suffering increase our experiential knowledge of God?
This is an important conversation that we hope more and more and more and more and more believers, minsters, brothers and sisters will have.
Listen in! 🎧 God is good, and mental illness doesn't scare Him.

Part 1: Interview with the WILD Gamboa's

Part 1: Interview with the WILD Gamboa's

Do miracles still exist? Are people really encountering a miraculous, loving, healing God? Or has the time for miracles passed us by?

What did Jesus mean when He told His disciples to go into cities, declaring, "the Kingdom of God IS HERE!" and healing the sick?
Is that descriptive of their time? or prescriptive for all believers-ever?

We're talking about it, and the personal testimony of Micah and David Gamboa, today! 🎧
