In Conversation: Diana Forster & Dr. Katherine Lebow

In 1940, at the beginning of the Second World War, Stalin's troops invaded Eastern Poland. Polish people were forced from their homes at gunpoint and sent to labour camps in Siberia. Artist Diana Forster's mother and grandparents were among them. Her upcoming exhibition Such a Long Journey uses prints, the Polish craft of wycinanki and installations to explore her family's story.

The latest episode of #NWConnect features Diana Forster in conversation with Dr. Katherine Lebow, Associate Professor of Modern History at the University of Oxford, whose research focuses on 20th century history of Poland.
