Aanikh is the co-founder of the social inelegance platform Trufan, a Toronto based startup that has raised over 1.8 million dollars in venture funding. Aanikh's entrepreneurial journey started at the age of 14 when he was featured on CBC's Dragons Den (the Canadian version of Shark Tank) and became the youngest social entrepreneur ever to receive venture funding for a mobile ringtone app he created called UndrTheRadr. The app donated 20 cents of every download to Free the Children. In 2015, Aanikh was named one of Plan Canada's 20 Under 20, an award that recognized 20 of Canada's brightest youth leaders. As a result, I was thrilled to have Aanikh on the program to discuss his entrepreneurial journey, and of course, his ambitions for Trufan and beyond in the coming years!
