Let’s get in to it.

About Maggie

Maggie is a one woman show founder of Ignited and music photographer. She always knew she'd find both personal and professional fulfilment within the music industry, but it took getting behind a camera at a concert for her to find her angle in. Mainly self-taught, in the beginning, she'd go to venues that allowed cameras, shoot musicians’ sets, and send them a link to photos the next day for them to use. This led to paid work and authentic relationships with both the bands and other industry individuals. But her biggest takeaway: understanding the local industry’s unsolved needs, like that of a centralised community resource accessible to all involved in the Charlottesville and Richmond music industry.

This group started as a way to keep in touch with her past and future clients but it quickly evolved into so much more than that. Through The Babes Club, Erika empowers her community of female-identified, non-binary, and queer folks to better their lives and overcome their greatest challenges. In this show, we interview Disciple customers and community enthusiasts from all industries as we discuss building and scaling communities. Tune in to learn all about the passion economy, how you can create your own private community, and much more.

I’m Valentina your host for this episode and today I’m talking to Richelle Olsen, founder of Escaping Your Comfort Zone.

Let’s get to it.

About Richelle

Richelle is an Aussie 40-something, plus sized, and has cycled from Canada to Mexico, hiked to Everest base camp, run a 25km race in the Spanish Pyrenees, trekked the Inca Trail, solo bike toured through the Italian Alps and Scotland, scuba dived in around the world, raced over 20 triathlons, solo hiked the Queen Charlotte Track in NZ and had a whole lot of other adventures in between.  She does it slowly, frequently solo and on her own terms.

In 2016, she returned home from 5 months cycling 5000km from Canada to Mexico, where her greatest challenges were avoiding bears, finding food and water, and finding a flat patch of grass to pitch my tent. She realised there was much more to life than the stress of constructed deadlines in my job as a telecommunications business analyst.  So many women had told her she was so brave to do the adventures she does, that they never could.  So she worked out a way to become their cheerleader - she quit my job and started Escaping Your Comfort Zone with the commitment to make it work.  It's been a rollercoaster, but the payment in seeing people's lives change way outweighs the salary she used to earn.

I’m Valentina your host for this episode and today I’m talking to Brandon Santiago, Founder & CEO at RH Made.

Let’s get to it.

About Brandon

In early 2020 Brandon teamed up with his long time business partner Joey Nunes to develop a Forex Education community called R.H. Made. The marketing and music industry veteran decided it was time to switch gears, and professions, when he set out to learn how to trade global currencies as a side hustle at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We were faced with a handful of situations such as scams, false information, poor delivery of education, and just an overall lack of communication between those learning and those teaching. After some bad experiences we knew we had to develop something and fill the void.” - Brandon, on why he decided to build a community.

After meeting a few key players, including Juvy Saint-Louis, the group focused on the experiences they were faced with and began developing an immersive education-based community. Using a true “community” model,  R.H. Made has made an impact on the industry even on a smaller scale. The program consists of live trainings at their central office location, multiple daily Livestreams, as well as community access to educators and other members that are all on the same journey together.

Battling the on-going stigma that Forex trading carries, the team at R.H. Made plans to change the mindset of as many people as possible - one person at a time.

Anyone can become an educated, profitable trader with the proper foundation and support.
