Kentucky Football is who we hoped they would be. Early and irrational predictions for this weekends game vs Mizzou. The start date for the 2020-2021 NBA season and the rumor surrounding the Raptors and the role Louisville plays in it. NFL stories discussed, Dallas and McCarthy, Fitzy being benched, Antonio Brown possible return, Dez Bryant is 31 and makes an appearance, and the Chiefs signing Bell.

We also dissect Chris Johnson's tweet - " The Titans have the greatest running backs in NFL history" or something like that. Matt and David give their opinions on the comment and share what franchise they think holds that title.

UK basketball gets Toppin and Sarr ruled eligible and what it means. Can Sarr be what everyone hoped Reid Travis and Nate Sestina would be?

Matt sits down with Coach Brent Vernon and talks basketball, his coaching journey, the direction of the game, being a dad with multiple kids who play multiple sports and the support system for his wife during her coaching career.

Matt and David talk about what the 17th title for the Lakers mean for LeBron and his legacy and does this title mean less because of the circumstances. Is Playoff Rondo now the most accomplished UK player of all time? Mount Rushmore of Game Day snacks/foods.   

Matt sits down with JJ Traynor who is a freshman basketball player at UofL. They talk about his high school career, his insane rise between junior and senior year which lead to D1 coaches flocking to his AAU games, the recruiting process, and what his expectations are for himself and UofL this season.

We have the whole gang here today to answer questions sent to us by listeners and friends. The majority of all the questions are pertaining to the NFL season so far and several storylines that are currently playing out. We also dive into UK football, what we believe the problem is with the team, how unfair it is to blame Terry Wilson for the 0-2 start, and give our predictions for todays game vs Miss St.  We end the show by congratulating Todd and the Taylor County Golf Team on their runner-up finish at the State Tournament earlier this week. We recognize their long list of accomplishments from this season. Great season and great careers for Hayes Mason and Adam Kehoe.

Matt and David are joined by John Wheat who is filling in for Todd while he prepares his golf team for the state tourney and a shot to 3Peat as champions. Matt leads the show off with a rant that he has waited an entire week to unleash on. The guys then eat some humble pie when discussing the UK/Auburn game from last weekend that they both doubled down on. They preview the UK/Ole Miss game today and Wheat as any typical UK hater would, picks Ole Miss. They talk about U of L's struggles in football as they sit at 1-2 on the season then dive into the Chris Mack video. Former Kentucky basketball players are some of the biggest headlines in the NBA playoffs right now. Bam, Herro, Jamal Murray, AD, and Playoff Rondo are all putting up big numbers right now and all came from UK so that leaves us with one question.... Why would you go anywhere but UK?

We preview this weekends UK football game vs Auburn and Matt and David both admit to drinking the kool aid. Also talk about The Payne's Valley Cup, the masterpiece that Tiger Woods designed and the U.S. Open.

Todd breaks down what the All-State Golf tournament is and how you qualify for it as well as a controversial tournament decision that cost several teams qualifying points. They also break down the differences between the tournaments and Todd gives his opinion on why All State was created and the fairness of Coach of the Year Award being based off of All State finished. Taylor County is currently 7 strokes back heading into the second day but Todd likes their chances. Coming from behind is where they play some of their best golf (10 strokes back to win state 2018 and 8 strokes back to win state in 2019).

With Todd being out with the birth of his son, Matt called upon 2 guests to help fill the void. Justin Grundy returned to the show to discuss the Rooney Rule as well as the racial climate in the NFL when it comes to certain positions. Christopher Talley joined us for the first time to share his personal story about playing pro baseball for the TB Rays organization and offers up a couple stories about his time in college and in single A ball.

Today we were lucky enough to sit down and talk with Kentucky State Senator Mr. Max Wise. We cover sports, family and the dreaded coronavirus. He offers up his opinion on what youth sports may look like once it returns in June. We also talk about his love for Notre Dame football and some of his most memorable moments throughout his life. Shares his appreciation and respect for everything his mom was able to accomplish during her time as Head Coach of the Lady Tigers B-ball program at CU.

On today's episode, we introduce our new moderator Alic Williams. We then share our opinions regarding the phasing plan regarding sports that Andy Beshear has put in place. We also revisit the g-league topic from last week and discuss if we think its going to hurt elite colleges when it comes to recruiting. We finishing up with ranking our top 4 UK/UofL basketball games over the past decade and we share the results from our twitter poll.

Lucky for us, the news of UofL basketball violations broke right before we recorded so we lead off with our opinions regarding that as well as the entire scandal as a whole.
