Thanks to the suggestion of one of our listeners on Discord, today we're doing a retrospective of one of Mike's favorite bands, New Jersey darling's Thursday. They were one of the pioneers of the second wave of emo during the 2000s and have since influenced a ton of bands that we all have come to love, including My Chemical Romance. Join us as we go through each of their albums from 1999 to 2011 as we anticipate the release of their new song and (hopefully) their new music going into the future!

This is our last 'regular' episode of The Skinny for 2022 before our year-end celebration in December and we're taking the time to reflect on yet another strange year in our lives. Lots of ups and downs, disappointments and triumphs were sprinkled throughout and Adam and Mike share with one another and with our audience what the year-to-date was like for them. One of our favorite bands, The Wonder Years, is releasing their 7th album very soon. And because this is a band that we feel like just keeps getting better and better, we felt like now is a great time to highlight them and talk about their very interesting and ever-evolving discography. From easycore to pop-punk to alternative rock, and songs ranging from telling a girl that you'd like to go to space together to songs about survivors' guilt in the aftermath of the death of a close friend, the band seemingly has run the gamut with their career path as musicians.
