We're back! And talking about STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS once again. 

The gang meets Cad Bane in the first story arc of Season 2 (HOLOCRON HEIST, CARGO OF DOOM, CHILDREN OF THE FORCE). Justin and Mathew remain disturbed over the tragic lives of battle droids, Peter does the worst Michael Caine impersonation of all time.

Peter gives Justin and Mathew a break from Star Wars: The Clone Wars with Volume 1 of Genndy Tartakovsky's Star Wars: Clone Wars, the 2D micro-series that originally filled the gap between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. And wouldn't you know it - the gang loves them! So much so that they're now dreading returning to the original series next week. Peter also surprises everyone by remembering details from Stephen Hopkins' LOST IN SPACE!

With one entire season of Clone Wars finally conquered, the party ain't over, it's only just begun! The Star Wars Punsters watch the Grand Republic take back Ryloth from the Separatists in a thrilling arc (Storm Over Ryloth, Innocents of Ryloth and Liberty of Ryloth) - one that includes an episode that Mathew ended up genuinely enjoying! Meanwhile, Justin dreams of an ideal Jedi and Peter mispronounces numerous Star Wars names and aliens on his road to another truly miserable pun!

The Star Wars puncasters are back (sorry for the delay) with an eerily topical stretch of Clone Wars - one episode involves the death of a decrepit colonial power (TRESPASS), the others are about a deadly virus (BLUE SHADOW VIRUS and MYSTERY OF A THOUSAND MOONS) that is slowly killing a character thanks to the ineptitude of a political representative. There's even a planet with a stay-at-home order in effect! Also discussed: Lady Jar-Jar, Rule 34, and once again... the canonical name for cantina music in Star Wars...

As observed by Peter in the latest puncast, every sci-fi show needs an irish colony episode! Justin and Mathew remain unimpressed with nearly everything, but this two episode arc (JEDI CRASH and DEFENDERS OF THE PEACE) does inspire some Paul McCartney impressions, so let's not call the whole thing off!

The punsters discuss "DOOKU CAPTURED" and "THE GUNGAN GENERAL" a two-episode arc that sees Ani and Obi bicker themselves into a threeway with Darth Sidious' right-hand Dooku. Peter also gets to introduce one of his favourite characters, while Justin and Mathew are gobsmacked at Jar-Jar's increasing bloodlust.

This week's eps are a disparate bunch that replace the adventures of Obi and Ani for a triptych of duos, including the comedy stylings of Jar-Jar and Threepio on a planet full of Greedos (all two of them!). Listen to Peter frequently bungle the pronunciation of Star Wars names while Justin invents new ones and Mathew cancels 7-Up mascot Fido Dido. It all boils to a shocking pundown between Peter and Mathew. Oh and beware of spoilers pertaining to Issac Asmiov's FOUNDATION books.

On this week's episode, the Star Wars punsters catch up with the pitiable Domino Squad as they defend an outpost from Commando Droids (ROOKIES), only to follow it with a two-episode arc (DOWNFALL OF A DROID and DUAL OF THE DROIDS) that features distractingly undercooked animation, a farting Bossk and so much droid shenanigans it had Mathew ask the panel: "which droid are you DTF?"

The Adventure intensifies!

Peter makes Justin and Mathew watch THE MALEVOLENCE ARC from THE CLONE WARS.
