Find out more about her first book, Medicinal Love, by visiting her at the links below! I have the first book of my Medicinal Love series, Oxytocin on Wattpad right now and I'm currently writing on the second book, Vena Cava. I'm quite surprised that it is doing so well on Wattpad but I praise the Lord above for that. I have dreams to be published but as of right now, I just take the time to put words on paper and also trying to get my name out there. I'm amazed at how many romance writers there are out there and I can't wait to be a bigger part of the romance author's world.

Don't Stop 'Til You Get It Done!
Join us again as we chat with Brookley Mosley! She has written well over 20 Urban Romance books to date and during this episode talks about how a novella can quickly turn into a full novel. We also got the run down on her writing process and some great advice for new authors that may be struggling a bit to get that story done! Brookelyn wrote her first short story when she was a sophomore in high school. Back then she discovered how using her experience as a teen living in Brooklyn to create romantic shorts was just as exciting to her as retail shopping and going on dates. After starting her first semester of college two years later, Brookelyn's creative writing became more of a hobby and something to do to escape the stress of midterms and finals. Now in her 30s as a freelance copywriter, pinning short stories and novellas is her everything. While her experience with writing has evolved for the better, her undying love for creating fiction remains unchanged. Brookelyn's focus is on creating contemporary women's fiction with characters based in urban settings. Her stories chronicles the emotional journeys and erotic experiences of women today through her characters and the scenarios they're thrown in. The motivation behind her brand of writing has a lot to do with what she discovered storytelling provided for her - an escape. Her goal with her work is to create characters and urban worlds that offer a great escape for fiction readers looking for a break from the daily grind of adulting and who prefer to relax with good books and short stories. When she's not freelancing, doing Yoga, or showing her husband and son lots of love, she can be found sitting at her computer desk, with legs folded, and a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) at arm's reach as she types or edits her latest short or novella.

Readers Gonna Read!
Join us this week as we chat with the CEO of The Divine Legacy Publishing, Amanda Chambers!  In this episode we talk about creating a community for independent authors, Amanda's record breaking writing goal for this year, and her hopes for virtual book clubs. Amanda Chambers was born in Baltimore, Maryland but moved to North Carolina as a teenager so she has the grit of a northerner, but the charm of a southern belle. She knew she had a love for fiction when, at an early age, she discovered her mother’s romance novels and began sneaking to read them. Turning a passion for reading into a love for the written word, Amanda’s life has revolved around writing. She began writing short stories in grade school and pursued a degree in English at East Carolina University. She then received a Masters of Arts in English from North Carolina Central University. In March 2016, Amanda decided to finish the novel she began in 2008. In August 2016 she released Ember's Flame, under the pseudonym Serendipity, and it quickly shot to the number one spot on the Amazon African American Erotica list. This book was the catalyst in Amanda creating Divine Legacy Publishing, LLC. Amanda has since released books under her given name, most notably the first book in a children's series based on her daughter, Brooke.  She plans to continue writing romance under Serendipity and children's books under Amanda Chambers. I'm Not Your Superwoman.
This week we sat down with Javonda Robinson, author of His Gal! Listen in as we discuss her debut book, His Gal, breakout characters during the story writing process and how breaking free of 'The Superwoman Syndrome' is oh so very necessary. Javonda Robinson, a Georgia peach through and through developed an early love for reading. With encouragement from her parents, a teacher, and a childhood friend, she began to write poetry and found that writing was a great way to see life differently and explore various scenarios without causing trouble. Many of her poems written were about empowering and uplifting people of color. In college, Javonda began to embrace her twisted sense of humor and at times she wrote poetry demonstrating it. While attending college, educating today’s youth, and raising a family with her husband, she would write sporadically but remained an avid reader. However, while reading she would rewrite the stories and eventually was lovingly dared by her husband to write a book. She took him up on the dare and released her first book in late 2020. Javonda has already begun to work on a second novel and has a collection of short stories she aspires to release. She endeavors to create stories that readers can connect with but also become engrossed in and be entertained. You can find out more about Javonda Robinson by visiting her website:
