Mental Health Representation in Fiction Books Stuff!
Self Help Books & A Very Shouty Pusscat
There is probably a literal fucktonne of self-help books out there right now and it's not always easy to find the right ones for you, ones which are helpful, but not peddling some kind of mental health snake oil or just straight up trying to get you to join a cult. So Nicola and I talk through some of our favourite ones, with a few apps in there too, and then right at the end Pusscat decides to yell his approval at our general messages. What a good boy.

Just Noises
Sometimes when someone asks how you are, all you can manage in response is..... just noises.
Generalised Anxiety
Nicola and I have finally got our shit together and come up with a bit more of a format for the podcast and managed to record a new one! A lot has changed since our last chat.... so we decided talking about generalised anxiety would be a good place to start! We describe our experiences and thoughts on anxiety, then give our three top tips on how to cope, then finish off with what we are currently reading/listening to/watching this week. Hope you enjoy!

Chat with Faye Savory of Bear Hugs Gifts
All the way back in October I got to talk to the lovely Faye who is the Chief Sender of Hugs at Bear Hugs Gifts, a company she started from scratch after she became ill and had to leave her previous job. We talk about how she started, how to work with a disability and why business is better when centred around kindness. Hope you enjoy it! We also both benefited from The Prince's Trust Enterprise Course which you can find out more about on their website https://www.princes-trust.org.uk/ and you can find Faye at www.bearhugsgifts.com
