Let's Talk About Quitting Tobacco with Sheila Berger
Producer: A. Edge Productions
Cohost: Angela Edge
Editor: Flint Woods
Cannabis Pairing: Cannabis Expert MD, Dr Brian Nichol
Special Guest: Sheila Berger
Sheila Berger is a Certified Consulting Hypnotist and Licensed Massage Therapist. She is the founder of 321 Hypnosis and Massage Center. She specializes in Hypnosis, Massage, Havening, NLP, Sound Healing, and Intuitive Card Readings. Sheila began her journey in 1996, studying to become a Massage Therapist. I do feel my journey began well before that time in 1996. When I was younger, I had headaches. My mom's gentle touch and caring nature showed me how to be nurturing. She was a gentle healer in her own right. In the short time, I had with my mom, she taught me faith, understanding, compassion, empathy, caring, and to be in service for a higher purpose.
MASSAGE THERAPY: Sheila began her journey in 1996 on her way to becoming a Massage Therapist. She started her journey in Massachusetts and moved to Florida for her Massage certification. In 1996 Sheila originally had sciatica discomfort, and she sought out massage therapy to relieve the discomfort. It propelled Sheila on her course of action as a massage therapist. She also remembered someone praising her kindness in church as we also washed each other's feet. All synchronistic events led her to be a massage therapist. As Sheila was searching for massage schools, she remembered the therapist who helped her and the church woman who praised her. She decided to head to Florida. She is grateful for the knowledge and foundation Sarasota School of Massage taught her! Sheila practices Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and Cupping.
HYPNOSIS: In 2017, Sheila studied Hypnosis certification program with the NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists). I feel blessed by the clients that come to me for help. I feel a great sense of accomplishment helping others make significant changes in their lives. I assist with the challenges of Weight Loss, Stop Smoking, Confidence, Breaking a Habit, Test Taking, Athletic Performance and More.
NLP: In 2021 received my Master NLP Practitioner training. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is the study of language patterns and how we communicate with one another in the representation of our language patterns and the programs we have installed from birth to adulthood. It's a system in which we utilize a particular pattern. NLP is about forwarding movement into empowerment. HAVENING: In 2021, Sheila devoted time to a Havening certification class. Havening helps release the emotions that come up due to a car accident, or dog bites, just to name a few, and to also builds better resilience. It is sensory-based and can be performed by yourself, which is great for doing it over zoom, or a practitioner may facilitate the havening session when the person is in the same room. Intuitive Card Readings: Sheila listens to her guides, and when she receives the messages, she advises the person on what the words are. I can also get people that have passed if you are looking for some peace around their passing.

"Cannabis is my passion, and that includes Cannabis sativa L., otherwise known as hemp. I “officially” became involved in Cannabis 18 years ago when I moved to Colorado in 2001 from Northern Virginia as a "medical marijuana refugee," leaving a growing lucrative career in technical recruiting for high-level government contracts and dot-com companies to help my ex-husband cultivate cannabis for himself and medical early medical Cannabis patients. From there, I met my mentors who were involved in the passing of Amendment 20 and we helped shepherd patients and caregivers through a not-as-of-yet regulated medical marijuana industry, helping to register thousands of patients and matchmaking them with caregivers whom we taught to grow for medical purposes.
Through the years I have worked in the cannabis space in multiple capacities. I had one of the first dispensaries in Colorado pre-regulations, and consulted in communications, business development, and cannabis business compliance. In 2015, Sensi Magazine recognized me as a Colorado cannabis industry pioneer for my early years of blazing a path for what would become a multi-billion dollar industry. Cannabis, and hemp, encompass my life's greatest passions, as does helping people be their best selves, including self-care. Having hemp topical and skincare line is my way of being able to once again work directly with consumers while revisiting my other passion, high-quality skincare.
I also have a background in cosmetics. To supplement my income during the years I was caregiving for medical marijuana patients, I worked for Origins Natural Resources as a representative, learning about the value of plant-based skincare. I also started a business as a freelance makeup artist and had performance teams and hair stylists as clients. I also became a makeup artist on both Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier's makeup and skincare line, further rounding out my experience. I knew then that Cannabis and skincare were a good combination. I myself get complimented on my youthful skin and it is because of being vigilant with my skincare regiment and want to now combine my experience to provide high-quality hemp-based skincare to consumers."

Bill Morgan
Bill Morgan has amassed over 40 years of farming experience and has become one of the most respected consultants in the Ozark region. Bill has a background in cannabis growing reaching back to 1968. It was cannabis that lead him into commercial organic farming. Bill has built gardens in Washington, Colorado, Hawaii and Arkansas. He now tends a research for profit hemp farm near Fayetteville in the Ozark Bioregion. The pristine environment of the mountains of Northwest Arkansas, with its crystal caves, clean rivers, and limestone bluffs, suits his quest for the answers to what this plant desires to express itself medicinally. Bill sits on the Board of the Arkansas Hemp Association and works closely with the University of Arkansas concerning hemp production. Camille Martin
Camille Martin is a registered dietitian, health blogger, and senior technical editor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She is also a former chronic dieter who wasted nearly 25 years of her life on a diet. When she finally quit dieting and started setting and achieving more meaningful goals, she lost weight without trying. She also made powerful connections between women’s obsession to lose weight and the cultural conditioning that keeps them locked in a prison of silence, shame, and limitation. In her book, Love To Lose: Love Your Life and Watch the Weight Lose Itself, she uses what she learned on her own weight-loss journey to help other women stop wasting their lives on a diet, embrace everything about themselves, achieve what they’re truly capable of − and lose weight in the process. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from Georgia State University. She is a vegetarian, marathon runner, and avid reader who loves to travel. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her two daughters and their rescue dogs.

Guests: Dr. Joseph Rosado
Dr. Joseph Rosado, MD, is one of the world’s most respected medical authorities on cannabis as plant-based medicine. With over four decades of experience as a healthcare professional, he’s built a career anchored in the family tradition and driven by a desire to help his patients and community. assistant, then known as an orderly and began working in the medical field in 1978 at age 16. After high school, Dr. Rosado trained as an emergency medical technician, paramedic, and catheterization laboratory technician while working through college. A significant car accident led Dr. Rosado to the field of chiropractic. As a chiropractor, Dr. Rosado dedicated his practice to helping underserved communities, particularly those for whom English was a second language, ensuring that each patient received the highest quality of care that he could provide. Much more than a practitioner, Dr. Rosado became a friend and for many, their only healthcare provider. At the age of 35, Dr. Rosado entered medical school, quickly distinguishing him as a top student while working his way through school as a husband and father. In medical school, he studied marijuana and determined that potential health and wellness benefits could be extracted from the plant. In 2014, Dr. Rosado added his considerable professional expertise to the frontlines of Florida’s push for medical marijuana. One of the state’s first doctors advocating for medical cannabis, in 2016, Dr. Rosado also had the distinction of being the first Central Florida physician to recommend medical marijuana for an adult patient, as well as the first to recommend it for a patient under the age of 18. Dr. Rosado remains an outspoken advocate and highly sought-after speaker and educator with global impact, lecturing throughout the United States and abroad in Canada, Mexico, Malaysia, Fiji, Thailand, and a host of other countries. He’s appeared in many national and local media outlets, including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX News, Telemundo, Univision, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times. Michael Weinstein, The Dread Head Chef Chef
Michael Weinstein. AKA Dread Head Chef. Chef Michael Weinstein has been a fixture on the culinary scene for over 20 years, and has worked at some of the finest restaurants in town, as well as appearing on national TV and in print. His love affair with food began with his father's garden and the fresh foods his mother and grandmother created using these vegetables and herbs. At a young age, he meticulously began copying recipes he saw on PBS cooking shows instead of watching Sesame Street and ended up years later in culinary school instead of heading off to medical school or practicing law like his other siblings. The idea for his Dessert Salsas was borne out of necessity, as he (of course) is the source of family holiday meal preparation, but his niece and nephew suffer from severe food allergies limiting many of the traditional offerings Michael was able to prepare. Knowing their propensity for all things sweet and dessert-like, Michael came up with the Dessert Salsas (after finding himself with an abundance of Strawberries), paired with sugar-dusted chips to step in as an end-of-meal substitute for the kids. An untouched cheesecake and lonely apple pie were a testament to the success of his creation, and he started his Dread Head Chef side hustle, developing a line of chips and dessert salsas that were sold in Whole Foods and Kroger. Michael has continued to develop his brand, as well as his awareness of the need to eat healthily. Seeing the potential of the medicinal qualities of cannabis and his love for said plant, the natural merging of the chef meets shaman has begun with his latest line of CBD Infused Dessert Salsas, Crackers, and Caramels, which are a subtle protest of the current state of edibles in the industry. Chef says, "The idea of this amazing medicine trapped in a drugstore Gummy Bear seems so counterintuitive that I couldn't stand it, and had to come up with my own natural way to introduce people to the benefits of CBD. I feel a whole lot better now!" The Dread Head Chef CBD Infused line launched this year, under the Rebel Dreads Corp brand umbrella, along with Bada Wellness, a delightful new topical and intimacy line containing CBD. www.rebeldreadscorp.com/brands/dread-head-chef-cbd-edibles-cbd-tinctures
