Everything Everywhere All At Once | With Seth Sturgill
We welcome Seth Sturgill to the first podcast of the new year to discuss a film that comes around only so often.
Everything, Everywhere, All at Once is a special film for many reasons, which we go deep into in this very spoiler-heavy discussion, and we go as far as to say its faultless. A bold statement, but one that really holds true to this particular film.
We unfortunately kick off 2024 with some audio issues, with Jason having the wrong microphone selected in the recording software. We ran this through Adobe AI, and the results are remarkable. Its not perfect, but its a 100% improvement over the original audio. I'd just like to state here that I was happy to use AI in this situation, but we are definitely not behind AI replacing real people, and that should never be the case.
But please check out Seth's podcasts; they are a wonderful listen, so if you are looking for a new Nintendo podcast or just want to add another to your playlist, then you can find them at the following handy links: Big thanks to Seth for joining us; hopefully this will not be the last we hear of him.

An interview with Jeffrey Weissman
Merry Christmas! This year, we decided we would release an episode on Christmas Day as a present from us to you.
Jeffrey Weissman very kindly joined us to not only wish you all a Merry Christmas but to share some stories from his amazing career in Hollywood. We unsurprisingly concentrated on his role as George McFly from Back to the Future Parts II and III, but we also gained some knowledge on his other roles in film and TV, including Max Headroom and Saved by the Bell, plus some chat on his lookalikes.
The entire video recording, which includes pictures that Jeffrey very kindly sent us, is available on our YouTube channel for this episode. So, if that tickles your festive fancies, then you can find that HERE
You can find Jeffrey on INSTAGRAM or please check out his WEBSITE for details on his career, events he is attending, and much more.
We hope that this helps to give you a respite from the festivities, or maybe even some company if you are spending this time alone.

The Muppet Christmas Carol | With The Amazing Cliff
Cliff Foster aka The AMAZING Cliff joins us this week to discuss an all-time Christmas classic, The Muppet Christmas Carol.
Our second Christmas episode is one that is full of nonsense, including a mistake that Jason makes in the intro that then runs through the entire episode, we come up with the Muppetverse and what's up with Kermit with legs!? Anyone fancy a basting?
Cliff is the host of N64LIFE, a twice-weekly Twitch stream where he plays the best (and worst) of the N64, Gameboy Advance, and GameCube. He is also now a full-time host on the UNDERCONSOLETATION PODCAST, which is being reimagined as a show that reviews video game shows from around the world from 1975 to the present day. The Santa Clause | Featuring All N Eric
Jason was left in the lurch this week with no Rich, Chris, or Steve as we kick off the festive season with our first of two Christmas specials with a deep dive into Tim Allen's The Santa Clause.
Jason, knowing a one-man podcast would be a disaster, knew that he had to go searching for some talent to talk with, and he was over the moon when All N Eric from the ALL N: A Nintendo Podcast came riding in on his imaginary reindeer to save the day!
Eric was a delight to have on the show, and if you are looking for a new Nintendo podcast, then look no further. Find links to his show HERE and find Eric on Twitter HERE
The guys from the Channel 84 Variety Show podcast made an impromptu visit too, to share their thoughts on the film. Make sure to bring some mince pies next time, lads! You can find their podcast HERE
And we do appreciate that Tim Allen these days is a controversial person within certain subjects, and although we do not agree with his views, The Santa Clause is an important film from our childhood and that is how we looked at it in this conversation.

Prepare to Fast Forward #7
Welcome to Prepare to Fast Forward episode 7, our chance to leave the past behind and concentrate on modern-day pop culture.
For our last episode of the year, we wanted to shine the light on some of our favourite films, TV shows, and video games from 2023.
This meant we crammed so much into this that we had to bin a whole other segment we planned to do, but we still managed to have a hearty chat about a tonne of great stuff.
Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse, The Creator, Mission Impossible, Our Flag Means Death, Picard S3, Succession, Barbie, Sea of Stars, Dead Space Remake, and much more are covered.
A word of warning though, we tried really hard to avoid spoilers, but Jason could not hold it in when he spoke of Picard S3, so if for some mad reason you haven't seen that yet then please be cautious when we hit that section.

Anaconda Vs Lake Placid
We try out something slightly new for us as we pit two films against each other through five categories. Plot, cast, writing, action and our verdict scores will help in deciding which of these films is the better one. How do we decide? Well, by each of us giving a point to the film we think did the better job in each of those categories.
It was a rocky road getting to the end of this though as we were plagued by many challenges throughout the recording. You may notice a dip in audio quality as the software we used did not record the entirety in the separate tracks. This meant that we had to use the mixed single track and this resulted in a lower quality.
But please don't let that put you off, as you will still be able to hear us well, we just couldn't remove some background noise and some very small sections of echo. We apologise for this and we will be back using our regular service next time.

Not only do we discuss our experiences at the show, not only did we take eight interviews from some of the guests at the show BUT we were also joined by the fabulous Rowan Fox-Noble who runs his business MPBUK who specallises in creating instruction manuals for Nintendo Switch games.
Rowan was at OLL '23, selling his booklets and we did take an interview with him but unfortunately the recording did not come out well, so to make up for that we invited him on for another interview and hang out with us for the rest of the show!
The other interviewee's you will hear include Dean Mortlock of Sega Powered & Debug magazines, Nostalgia Nerd, Adam Koralik, Marc Jowlett of Sega Mags, Jon Doyle of Lost in Cult, developer of Crisis Island Sam, Alistair Lowe and YouTuber John Riggs.
We would like to thank everyone who was kind enough to take out some of there time to talk to us and also to the organisers of OLL '23 for all their hard work running the show - once again you all smashed it!

The TV Shows of 1999: Spaced | Bits | Red Dwarf
On our last TV episode of the 90s, we cover three quintessential British TV shows. All show us what delights the TV world had for us at this time. Spaced was the kick starter that eventually brought us the Cornetto trilogy, Red Dwarf (which ended its original run this year) showed it was possible to mash up sci-fi and comedy successfully and Bits gave us hope after the end of GamesMaster.
Fingers Crossed our audio issues are finally resolved as Chris got the chance to christen his new microphone and we treat you all to a small rendition of the Red Dwarf theme.....sorry!

The Movies of 1999: South Park Bigger, Longer & Uncut | The Sixth Sense | The World is not Enough
CONTENT WARNING: This show contains a ton of swearing, because South Park.
We are finally here, on the last year of our journey through the 90s and this year was another corker for films, so it was a tough choice for the lads but they came up trumps with their final picks.
With the South Park film, The Sixth Sense and The World is not Enough (wonder who picked that one 🤔) we set our last movie podcast on a succulent journey filled with laughs, terrible South Park impressions, Jason making a fool of himself again and high emotions as we discussed these marvelous creations.
We also have some sound issues once again as Chris's mic decided it had had enough and packed up just before we started recording, so Chris had to bring out the emergency mic and he sounds like he's on the telephone! So apologies for that, but rest assured another mic has been acquired so hopefully, we are back to the high standards next time!
We also paid our tributes to two legends of the TV Screen that we sadly lost recently, Kevin Conroy and Jason David Frank.

We say goodbye to 1998 by celebrating this pioneering year in games by discussing three wonderful games that were released this year. From zombie bashing to hitting the slopes we had some happy memories of these games which we shared on the podcast.
Rich was still suffering from his cold a tad, and we tried to cut all we could of the signs of this but a few still got through so apologies for that, Chris was still hungover from his James Bond 60th celebrations and Jason was shaken to learn about who was involved with the creation of 1080° Snowboarding!
