The UTC Mocs men's basketball team released their 2021-2022 schedule on Tuesday and on Wednesday during The Word With G head coach Lamont Paris joined the show to dig into it with us.

This schedule is an incredibly exciting one that gets rolling November 9, at Loyola Marymount (CA) in Los Angeles, California. Other notable non-conference games include road trips to VCU (11/20) and Belmont (12/15). The SoCon slate begins against rival ETSU in the Roundhouse on 12/29.

On Wednesday during The Word With G head volleyball coach Travis Filar joined the show to talk about his team this season, the Chattanooga Classic coming up this weekend, tournaments in college volleyball, which position he likes to coach most, and more.

Chase Green of Chatt Tenn Sports joined G on a Feel Good Friday and even though G had his tail between his legs after his Knicks were bounced he was still able to give some props to the Hawks as the guys got into what made them so successful against NY and how they might fair against Philly. 

With the Tennessee Vols set to face Wright State in game one of the Knoxville Regional Friday night Jeff Gilbert of the Dayton Daily News joined G and Chatt Tenn Sports contributor Chase Green to go behind enemy lines regarding the Wright State Raiders Baseball team.

Deputy Manager for Talking Chop Eric Cole joined the show to talk Atlanta Braves baseball as Marcel Ozuna has put himself in a bad way, how the team pivots now without him, Max Fried's turnaround, the bullpen, the upcoming MLB Draft, and more.  

The Chattanooga State Lady Tigers softball team came up a few games short of a National Championship but had a terrific season. Coach Golden joined G one final time to put a cap on the season, tell us how it ended, and what she's got planned for the off-season.

The Mocs needed 2/3 this weekend from rival Samford and they got it which turned out to be a very exciting weekend of softball. The team will be heading back to the SoCon Tournament to try and defend their 2019 Title. 

This week, G and coach got into making it to the playoffs, the heroics of Hayleigh Weissenbach and Cameron Swafford, how the pitching performed, the walk-off on Saturday, whether or not coach shows emotion, why they show bunt on two-strikes, and heading to the tournament to face Western Carolina on Thursday afternoon.

The Braves have won 5 out of their 6 last games and against the NL East no less which is crucial. In addition, they've brought back a familiar face to help solidify the bullpen. 

Segment two of a Feel Good Friday with G, Malcolm Harris, and Wells Guthrie featured the story about NFL Insider Adam Schefter pulling speculation rather than sources on the Aaron Rodgers wants out of Green Bay story... Very not like Schefty but the guys dive in to determine what is real and what is fake when it comes to the saga between Rodgers and the Packers.
