The World Is Ending Podcast

By Ankit

Is the world really ending?
Hi my name is Ankit Jha and I'm an extrovert. I'm stuck inside for next 21 days and I've been trying to do something really interesting.
In The World Is Ending podcast we talk to the most interesting people I'm friends with and learn about their unconventional lives. The goal is to not ask too many questionas and learn as much as we can. This is the best time to be alive and the most important time to build yourself.
And if the world accidentally ends, we will leave some stories for our alien successors

On a date with Indo Affrican people ft siddi people and Ola Jason

The Siddis are a community that migrated from East Africa to India between the 15th and 19th centuries. ... The Siddis have now settled primarily in the states of Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh. They came as merchants, sailors, slaves, and mercenaries, going on to even become rulers. They are the sole Indo African community that has lived to tell stories of their culture. Although a lot of the community is extremely impoverished, they have a lot of zeal and a lot of grit to live life as it comes. Along with them, we have a very interesting Ola Jason who is the bridge between Bollywood and Nollywood. Ola has had a very interesting stay in Bollywood and he is a believer in God. He talks about his message for the black communities in India and how he overcame discrimination.

Chatting with a homeschooled high IQ person.(MENSA member)

MENSA is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world. It's membership extends to only those people who have extremely high IQ.

In the first episode of The World is ending podcast we chat with Vivek Nagarajan who is a member of MENSA high IQ society. Vivek is a 30 something programmer, who happens to have had a number of diverse experiences in life.

He spent his adolescence among the mighty and cool Himalayas and some of that has rubbed off on him. He has a massive 12 million viewership on Quora and has lead a very interesting life.

When he was in grade 3, he taught himself programming, philosophy, electronics and advance maths. By grade 6 he got bored of school and droppped out. After that he went to live in the Himalayas and continued learning more.

Apart from reading popular science and more DIY books ana magazines he also learned everything from forging steel to weaving baskets to working with wood, since it was a practical requirement.

In his own words- "I don't think school has much to do with developing intelligence. Intelligence develops when you are interacting with people much more smarter than you, you pick up ways of thinking and learning as well as information. The best teacher is one who explains how s/he thinks, so you can use that technique.". Find Vivek as Vivek Nagarajan on Quora
