The Yona Podcast

Part two of the Palace Arc is here! We talk at length about Yon-Hi's diary and dive into the morally grey realm of Soo-Won and Yona's dead parents. Then, we get a new character - Mei Nayan - and really struggle to figure out how to pronounce her name.

Okay! Chapters 151 and 152. Aka The Confession! That's right, Hak admits he loves Yona to her face, but not before she tries to send him away to be with the people he "really wants to be with" (the Wind Tribe and his fiancee???). Also the dragons are alive and doing not great but not terribly, and they're good boys, no notes.

So Mizari dies. Apparently he succumbs to his wounds but I did not get that either time I've read this section, so do with that what you will. 

In other news, Kouren is very much still kickin' it. She manages to get to Soo-Won and they have peace talks. You know who's not interested in peace? Kye-Sook. He thinks Yona's a threat (he's right). While he's scheming to keep her in check, she's worried about boys so like, relax dude.

Everyone's getting shot at with arrows this week. Neguro, Hak, and Mizari are all unfortunate enough to get wounded by Gobi's dudes (which we know via many routes including an unnecessary aside from a bad guy).

The wall is a metaphor! This week, Hak and Soo-Won are dealing with their emotional baggage, Jae-Ha and Zeno are hanging out, and Yona is having a breakdown because Lili's about to die. It's really fun stuff!

Too bad about Lili's impending death and all that.
