The future is here - Industry 4.0 with Anne Høyer
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is the ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing, using smart interconnected devices. Large-scale machine-to-machine communication and the internet of things (IoT) are integrated for increased automation, as well as intelligent smart analyses and diagnostics.In this episode, we are discussing the prerequisites of this smart environment as well as it‘s development with Anne Høyer. Anne is the Managing Director of GSH Tech Agent, with previous experience in the tech space working for large Software companies establishing solutions around this topic. She gives us insights into her own journey and the journey of Industry 4.0 and where it still needs to go. We have been talking about data privacy in this context as well as the personal use of smart devices. At the end of the episode we are discussing Anne’s personal journey of becoming an entrepreneur, as well as her learnings and experiences.

Police vs Cancer - Immunonkologie mit Anita Seshire
Ein funktionierendes Immunsystem ist wichtig für alle Prozesse in unserem Körper. Es ist die Polizei des Körpers und erkennt Bakterien, Viren und andere körperfremde Partikel, die unserem Körper schaden könnten. Aber was passiert eigentlich, wenn bestimmte Zellen sich vor dem Immunsystem verstecken und somit nicht erkannt und bekämpft werden können? Bösartige Zellen können im Körper wachsen und Krebs ist die Folge. In dieser Episode wollen wir mit Anita Seshire, die Head of Laboratory in Exploratory Cancer Research bei Merck Biopharma ist, darüber reden wie unser Immunsystem funktioniert, wie genau Krebs entsteht und was für Ansätze es gibt, um Krebs zu therapieren. Wir schauen uns insbesondere die Immunonkologie als Säule der Krebstherapie an. Außerdem reden wir darüber wie mRNA in Zukunft die Behandlung von Krebs revolutionieren könnte. Anita ist Expertin auf ihrem Gebiet und hilft uns dabei dieses wichtige Thema besser zu verstehen.
