I think we talk too much about the "honorable pursuit of Truth". I don't think truth matters nearly as much as we tell ourselves it does. It does, however, give us a nice excuse to ignore our very real emotions by bottling them up until they inevitably explode, destroying most of what makes sense in life.
People (myself included most of all) often make the mistake of thinking that they are capable of handling anything that comes their way.
The truth is, a person can really only juggle three things at once:
The Wife, The Mistress, and The Vice.

This episode is my favorite, because it's the first (well, second) time I've been able to fully verbalize my vision. I hope you see the connections from past episodes and how everything has come together! See you in season 3!!
In this episode I talk about trying to find a way to "anchor" (no pun intended) myself between emotional highs and lows to avoid the motivational black hole that keeps me from doing anything. Enjoy (and check out the YouTube vid: https://youtu.be/9x8VRuFz69Q)
In this episode, I get a little frustrated because things aren't moving as fast as I want. The cathartic high of a realization can lead to this kind of disappointment if you don't plan for it with ACTION.
This episode is a wandering selection of stories from my past as I try to piece together why I'm in the situation I'm in.
You can tell I'm trying to find a way to both rationalize my situation AND navigate my way out of it.
It's Ground Zero. Hitting one of the lowest points in my business that I've ever been at. I describe some of my personal financial problems, as well as some of the things that have led to the business being where it's at.
This is the first few hours of realizing that my business was in huge trouble, and my emotional reaction to that realization.
Season 2 is a slight departure from the norm of what you may have come to expect from this podcast. I'll be honest, I'm nervous to release it, but I think you'll find it either beneficial or educational.
My very first caller/comment! Featured at the very beginning. It's fairly creepy sounding, but also quite awesome :)
This episode ranges all over - Arianna Grande, entrepreneurship, altruism, even some killer Star Wars metaphors. Check it!
This episode is unique and special for a lot of reasons. First, it's recorded entirely on my phone. Second, it's recorded in chunks over the course of a week. And lastly, really cool audio transitions!! Also today is my birthday.
The podcast is back! I ramble about practice and study and training, and even do some piano playing! (the first 5 minutes are cut off in the audio, but you can get them in the Youtube video)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfMksX-x7TQ
I dink around on the guitar and piano a bit, but mostly chat about how I wish people would stop being afraid to say things to me for fear of backlash or retaliation.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej5t9HPz8Dk
In this episode, I showcase some of the new changes to the ever-upgrading setup (some geetar action), as well as show a cover of a Cat Stevens song and ramble about relationships, guilt, and slowing everything down.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnLT0Cf9LEw
In this episode, I start out rambling about dating and Muay Thai, and then decide to write a song live for the recording. So I spend an hour or so and write a rough first draft of a full song. Denis joins me for part of it and helps out with the lyrics.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezRdDcqutWo
In this episode I ramble on about culture and counterculture and counter-counterculture, as well as fear and respect, and of course how Muay Thai is the perfect metaphor for life.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MomZCaNhK7k
Denis "interviews" me about Episode 3. We talk about a lot of stuff concerning Mormonism and spirituality in general, specifically how Muay Thai is like yoga and provides a lot of what religion didn't seem to be able to for us. Featuring a cameo by the lovely Mia.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YYTeZRkeDI
In this episode I introduce the new podcasting setup, go on a 30-minute rant about how people interact incorrectly with dogs (and give some practical tips on how to improve human-canine relations), give my two cents on a Gary Vaynerchuck quote, and discuss Commonality Audits.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIT19i5bL5Y
