How to get more customers without spending more money.

How to get more customers without spending more money.

What if you could get more sales without spending more money on advertising?

You can and here’s how.

There’s a common saying in business that you have to spend money to make money.

So a lot of times, people assume you have to spend more money to make more money.

And while there is some truth to that, you CAN decouple the two and maximize the return of your marketing efforts.

When it comes to getting more sales, spending more money on advertising is NOT required.

I’m going to share with you a framework you can use to generate sales and customers organically starting today.

The first thing to know is that attracting customers isn’t as complex as some marketers make it out to be.

You don’t need to have a detailed understanding of Facebook’s algorithm, be a clever copywriter, or have the fanciest production studio, although those things couldn’t hurt.

In fact, you really only need to know three things: Who is your ideal customer What do they want What pain are they experiencing Those are the prerequisites for launching a marketing campaign that works better than 99% of what everyone else is doing.

Now that sounds simple enough, but what you will find is that you really need is a framework to help you map out exactly who your ideal customer is and help you create the messaging to break through to them.

Messaging is the one thing that can make or break your marketing.

With the wrong messaging, all of your efforts and investment could be wasted.

Think about it.

If you go around saying something that is not what your customers want, is not relevant to them, and they don’t identify with, they are going to completely overlook what you are saying.

Messaging is everything.

There are two messaging frameworks that we use to help our clients craft high-impact marketing messages that get results.

I will tell you, the hardest part of using these messaging frameworks is not knowing how to come up with the topics or right messages.

No, it is something much simpler but more challenging for you.

The hardest part is going to be overcoming what you think you need to say.

See most of the time, we tend to think people want to hear about our products and services.

We think we need to talk about what we do, how we do it, why people need to buy from us, and so on.

But this type of self-focused messaging is the exact opposite thing you should talk about.

All of your messaging (all of it) should be focused on your ideal customer and address the two things mentioned above: What do they want What pain are they experiencing

It’s that simple.

If you stick to this model, you will create a magnetic brand that attracts new customers and sales while you sleep.

If you can get on board with that approach, then you are ready for the two messaging frameworks.

How to overcome price objections.

How to overcome price objections.

Do you hear a lot of price objections when selling?

Here is how you can overcome that and make the cost of your products or services a no-brainer.

The first thing you have to understand is what motivates your customers.

And if there is one thing we know, it's that fear and pain motivate people more than anything else.

The best place to start to figure this out is in your brand strategy.

Look at your personas and identify their daily fears and frustrations.

Then look at what failure looks like for them.

What is the pain this is creating in their lives?

Once you know this, you want to magnify it for your customer.

The bigger the pain, the more the solution is worth.

The most common mistake business owners make.

The most common mistake business owners make.

Almost every business owner I know makes this one single mistake that costs them dearly in the long run.

I used to believe that getting a sale was always a good thing. Meaning, that even if I gave a discount to the customer to get their business, it was better than not getting the sale.

I thought that because I was generating revenue and customers, even if my profit margin was reduced, it was ok because that sale and customer would lead to more profitable sales and customers.

But here’s the hard truth I discovered by making this mistake.

Why branding is like growing bamboo

Why branding is like growing bamboo

Most people know that bamboo grows really fast, but what most don’t know about bamboo is that it takes a really long time before the growth starts. Bamboo requires consistent care despite showing no results in the beginning. But once the growth starts, bamboo grows and expands its presence very rapidly.

Rastaclat: Building a Global Brand Through Bracelets.

Rastaclat: Building a Global Brand Through Bracelets.

Most of us have had an idea for a product, brand, or venture at a young age. You may have even tried your hand at an entrepreneurial venture as a kid, but soon moved on to pursue a traditional path in education and, ultimately, career.

For Daniel Kasidi, he too had an idea and his idea was for custom bracelets. Daniel even found considerable success at an early age as he sold his bracelet at school out of his backpack. And just like you and me, Daniel would go on to pursue a traditional educational and career path. But for Daniel, he always had a feeling that his bracelet company could be something bigger.

We sat down to hear how Daniel Kasidi first came up with the idea that would eventually become Rastaclat, a global brand built on custom bracelets. Daniel shares how he was able to gain critical knowledge and skills to turn a high school hustle into a burgeoning business that has sold over 10 million bracelets worldwide.

Daniel will share how his brand, and, more specifically, the values upon which he built his brand enabled him to amass a loyal following of fans, secure high profile collaborations, and ultimately build a company that now has 45 employees based out of California.

Salt Life: Starting, Growing, and Accelerating a Lifestyle Apparel Brand

Jeff Stillwell may not be a name you recognize, but you will almost certainly recognize some of the apparel brands his family has started or currently owns.

Jeff learned from an early age how to cut it as an entrepreneur. His career began at Auburn University where he and his dad would sell collegiate merchandise on game days. Ultimately, they would go on to create the Game Day brand of apparel, a staple in the southern sportsman's wardrobe.

Jeff's company now owns Salt Life, a hugely successful coastal lifestyle brand that has come to include products ranging from apparel to cold beer (lager to be specific). Jeff shares his experience from working through college, to exiting through a large sale, acquiring the brand back after the sale, and continuing growth with new brands.

Blenders Eyewear: Scaling an Ecommerce Sunglass Brand Using Facebook Ads.

If you live in the U.S., there's a good chance you've seen a Facebook ad for Blenders Eyewear. Their ads reached over 200 million users last year alone, and this focus on digital advertising has fueled their growth. But it hasn't always been that way. Blenders achieved traction in the early days through good ol' fashioned guerrilla marketing and face-to-face interactions. While Blenders is seemingly ubiquitous across Facebook today, it hasn't always been like that—It took years of hustle and grind to break through to the next level.

We sit down with Chase Fisher, the founder and owner of Blenders Eyewear, to talk about his relentless focus on brand experience, user experience, and the future of retail brands. He shares how small wins over an eight-year period kept him going and allowed him to achieve the success he is seeing today. He shares insights from startup to scaling, and what brand should know going into each phase of their growth.
