Today's episode is HOT OF THE PRESS!! What is 'Hot of the Press'? It's a segment where I come across an interesting op-ed piece in the papers and give my opinion in response to it. Today's op-ed piece is titled Good Cops Tame the Inner Warrior. According to Karl Marlantes, the reason why law enforcement gets a bad rap is: "Today's officers are prone to see enemies in the public. Warlike speech and symbols are part of the problem." But is that true? Yes? No? Maybe? Come join the conversation and we'll take a look at this piece and let's investigate.

Today's 5th episode of "A Thoughtful Bloke" is a completely unscripted and personal episode on the topic of forgiveness and humility. Our country is a lot more divided than it's ever been. But despite all the division our country is facing, doesn't mean we can no longer be friends. Please sit back and listen to this personal story.
NOTE: Don't mind the sniffling, allergies seemed to have won the day!

Why do we need Christian Intellectuals in the church? Are they essential in our country and the world today? Why is there a decline of Christian intellectualism in today's churches? Why are so many young people leaving the faith when they arrive at college? Are Christians only allowed to just preach the gospel and leave reason and intellect out of the arena of evangelism?
On today's special episode, I have the honor to interview Cody Libolt, one of the founding organizers of For the New Christian Intellectual Today, Cody will share his thoughts in response to some of these questions and see what the church should do to encourage reason and intellect into Bible-believing churches. I can't express how excited I am for this show. Please take a listen.
