As I re-launch the Thoughts Of Redemption podcast in 2020, I'm starting off with a much needed conversation on mental health! Me and my guest, Dr. Nicola Beckles, discussed child psychology, family dynamics, and ways that we can better advocate for mental health and mental health services!
We've all engaged in self-talk, after realizing it's healthy for us, and we're not crazy for talking to ourselves. I wanted to speak about the power behind self-talk and how I believe God equips us for it.
Being organized. A topic many of us agree with, yet struggle to implement in our lives. Well, count me in as one who struggles with being organized, even with my understanding of its value. Listen in as I give my thoughts, let us all strive to be more organized in our lives!
I did a FB Live video last week, where I spoke about being patient in the process, and I thought about this and other things throughout the week.So I decided to record this episode and give four ways to pace ourselves in life. Enjoy!

Hello 2019! It's been a month since I've released a new podcast, and that's because God has been working on me personally. He still is in fact. But I'm glad to be back! Ever since I heard of Colton Underwood being chosen as 'The Bachelor' and his virginity, I wanted to discuss the issues surrounding men, virginity, abstinence, and sex.
Oftentimes we want God to speak into our lives, so that we follow His will clearly, yet we overlook His providence in our lives to show what He's doing. So I wanted to speak about the providence of God, and reflect a little on 2018 for me.
This episode highlights the memories of my fellow Nyack students, as well as the necessity of Bible study. I go over different ways of studying the Scriptures, and what impacts our study of it. I was inspired to do this after last week's episode. Enjoy!
This week I, and others who attended Nyack College, learned of Nyack's plan to close the Rockland campus. The news was a shock to many of us, and there was much reflection for me personally, so I wanted to talk about my experiences at Nyack.
Ever since I started podcasting via Anchor, I haven't been using the actual Anchor app to record and upload my episodes, and I got used to it. Even after Anchor made it easier to develop your episode, I stayed with my way because I was used to it. Even though it was more inefficient.
Thinking about this, it brought me back to the word of the year for my church, which is 'optimize.' I wanted to talk about that word in this episode.
This week I got into a discussion with someone, and I lost my cool. Being misunderstood, or having my heart and motive questioned is something that tends to set me off. As a Christian, I'm still learning how to respond like Christ would, even when I'm misunderstood, so I wanted to share my experience and heart on this.

Last week, me and my twin brother flew to the West Coast, and enjoyed LA and the surrounding areas! Turning 30 was a big deal for us, so to me it made sense to make a big trip somewhere I've wanted to visit. Listen in as I recap my experiences in LA.

As common as it is to be a friend of God, I think the body of Christ has had a difficulty of understanding the nature of friendship. Especially when it comes to men and women being friends together. So I wanted to talk about it.
I talk about how easy it is to be offended at things today, and the ways that the spirit of offense affects our lives and relationships. We must recognize where this spirit shows up in our lives, and defeat it's influence!
This was a busy week! My church, Christian Cultural Center, celebrated its 40th anniversary! My church is officially a generation old, so it'll be incredible to see what happens next. Also had a few thoughts about the sentencing of Bill Cosby and the hearing with Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Ford. Enjoy!
In this episode, I wanted to speak about the existence of God, and how we give reasons to those who ask about our faith in Him. Our thoughts about God and how He reveals Himself impacts how we defend the faith.
Recently I released a #QuickThought video on manhood, and how God created woman because He said that it was not good for man to be alone. Therefore, I believe that in striving to be a man, men need to have good and healthy relationships with woman as we learn to be men. This is the last episode of Season 1, stay tuned for the next season in two weeks!
Prayer is communication with God, yet it's often hard for us to continue in it, or even understand it. In this episode, I talk about what prayer is, and why we pray, so that we all can have a deeper appreciation for it.
Appreciation can be a lost art sometimes, and it's something we have to be intentional about. This is especially important concerning all of the things that we have to steward in our life. Our level of appreciation determines the level and ability we have to steward whatever has been given to us in life. What's your appreciation like?
Last week I flew to Chicago for the Legacy Conference! This is a conference devoted to discipleship, and this year's theme was "Devoted to Fellowship." Tune in as I give my recap of my trip to Chicago and my experiences at the Legacy Conference.
Have you ever wondered why God never removes the memories you're either ashamed or regret you have, even though He's forgiven you of whatever you did? I was pondering this the other day and decided to talk about it.
God only requires the faith of a mustard seed, but our faith in Him is always meant to grow, and sometimes growth is hard. As a creative with a vision, I've dealt with the struggle of increasing my faith to where God can do greater things before my eyes, so tune in and hear my thoughts!
We all have our pet peeves in life, and this week I was reminded of one of my own, which is being inconvenienced in any way.
Does it speak to a deeper issue that I need to deal with? Take a listen as I share what I've learned about myself!
I've had some thoughts on Peter for awhile now, and I realized how much God was involved in changing the way this Apostle thought in life!
Sometimes the process takes a long time, and yet God is so patient. May this short bible study on Peter bless you!
