Welcome to Season 2, Episode 1 of Revamped! Today, I'm joined by @Banzainator to talk about photography and how one specific moment pushed me towards the field as a whole.

As a creator, it's important for us to be aware of good and bad signs that are present in the industry we're working in. 2021 is shaping up to be a crazy year for board games! With so many hot titles launching this year, I asked YOU what you are most anticipating in 2021. In this episode, I go over 21 games that we are all excited for, giving my thoughts on the artwork, interesting mechanics, and overall ideas surrounding each game!

What a month for kickstarter board games! In today's episode, it's a bit more of a free discussion. I cover the following games on kickstarter: 7th Citadel, Dinosaur World, Hogs of War, Cactus Town, Gatefall: Lost in the North Woods Expansion, The Rockoners: Steelslayer,  and Monsters on Board. Pendulum is a new, turnless, asymmetrical worker placement game releasing this summer from Stonemaier Games. There is a ton of excitement wrapped around this game, and for good reason! In this episode, I pose some questions regarding player interaction and objectivity within Pendulums game mechanics and give my preliminary thoughts on the game overall. 

If you have ever wondered about what camera you should get to take photos of board games, make videos for your reviews, or what camera you should start with first in general, all of those questions are answered here. However, in this episode, cameras are ranked among a tier list as if they were a deck builder game; guidelines are given to rank your own experience so you get matched with the camera that may be the best fit for you. On top of that, other tiers are explained so you'll always have a goal to work towards as well. In tabletop gaming, dice are used for a ton of reasons. Some use them as collectibles, others use them in D&D groups, some use them for both! I'm interested in exploring the reasons why the board gaming hobby collects dice, and along with exploring some of my favorite users on dice, I also lightly discuss the reasons why I'm in the market for a set as well.
