Jon Dexter's ALPHA DOGS, the Graphic Novel - Relaible Narrator 51
Hi, everyone!
We were lucky enough to interview Jon Dexter again! The creator of Alpha Dogs and Dime-Store Detective is back with updates about the Alpha Dogs Graphic Novel.
From the Kickstarter: “ALPHA DOGS features BUCK, a dog with the power to heal from most any wound, along with a heightened intelligence and strength. Although feared by the public due to his breed and size, Buck is determined to protect his loved ones along with humans and animals in danger. “
“Buck, along with his owner INA and a grumpy old pit bull who shares in Buck's powers have spent most of their lives on the run from BLACK ROCK, a cabal of mercenaries obsessed with exploiting the dogs’ abilities.”

Madame Web Was... Kinda Watchable. Check Out Our New Website! Episode 49
In episode:
- Madame Web - Tim kind of enjoyed this movie but Ryan will NEVER watch it. Internet bullies beat this movie up before it even got to theatres, not a fair situation.
- Reliable Narrators website is live! Thanks to Kristi Keller for doing a fantastic job building our website!
- Tim and Ryan go through the chapter titles of their book -Toolbox Talk: Tall Tales and Legends of Pipefitters, Welders, and Other Dudes With Trucks
- Artificial Intelligence - should we be using it to create images? Don't know, but we've been playing with it. AI puts multiple extra fingers and limbs on people so it isn't quite ready to take over the world.

We Are Now Reliable Narrators! Interview with Clifford Krauss of Clifford Krauss Fitness
We are making a switch. It’s time to rebrand and turn this cab around.
Yup, we used to be Unreliable Narrators. But now we are Reliable Narrators. It's a big deal.
Our guest on this word-famous podcast is Clifford Krauss (CSEP-CPT,Bachelors in Physical Literacy, Personal Trainer at @natefityyc). Cliff is a Heart Attack Survivor who now turned his ship around, and now he wants to see other people improve their fitness as well. He gives us his take on all things gym and fitness. Wait until he unloads on the Liver King!
Cliff's story is one of a miraculous recovery. At a very young age, he had a couple of severe heart attacks. That was when he switched life paths from rocking hard in a band, to fitness studies and personal training.
From his Instagram:
"WHY DO I TRAIN?
"This can be the easiest or the hardest question to ask yourself.
It used to be a hard question for me. I didn’t see a really good reason to be in the gym most days, so when I did get into a gym, I just did whatever random exercise I wanted, with minimal intensity and no goal in mind.
"Then I had a couple of heart attacks, and my priorities changed overnight.
"I train because I want to live. I train because I want to have a good quality of life, for the rest of my life. I train for all of the mental and physical benefits exercise provides. I train because training changed the way I see myself."
Check out his Instagram Cliffordkraussfitness for lots of great content.
Cliff also has on an online fitness program you can find here: Cliff's Virtual Bodyweight Workout Class

"For fans of hard-boiled mysteries like True Detective and L.A. Confidential. But also for readers who love metaphysical tales of good vs. evil."
Dime-Store Detective: "True Detective meets Stephen King's IT in this supernatural crime mystery." This is an 8 issue limited series that is a dark, dark version of Dukes of Hazard. Ever heard of the Dixie Mafia?

The Rise And Fall Of Terminator: When Will It Be Back?
Wow! We got to interview the world famous author Dave Holcomb for the second time! His newest release is fantastic!
The Rise and Fall of Terminator: When Will It Be Back?
It can’t be reasoned with. It can’t be bargained with … and it absolutely will not stop.
Even decades later, the T-800 Terminator mantra haunts humanity, but entering the 2020s, the cyborg might finally be slowing down.
In his second book, Dave Holcomb analyzes how The Terminator gave film audiences something it had never quite seen before in 1984. Holcomb explains how James Cameron’s masterpiece borrowed tropes from the action, sci-fi and horror genres to create a completely unique viewing experience. Holcomb also explores how the series exploded in popularity with its state-of-the-art sequel.
However, each Terminator sequel since then has grown less unique and more convoluted. Holcomb details all the ways in which the 21st century sequels have fallen flat and hypothesizes what went wrong for the series’ latest installment, Dark Fate, in 2019.
As for the future of the Terminator franchise -- Will It Be Back? Holcomb answers that question too.
