I’m understanding that my addiction goes deeper than just gambling. I’ll use any means necessary to escape. But I’m harming people in the process...myself included.

We all find ways to escape. Some are safe. Some are not. What are yours?

We are a society of “my problems are bigger than yours” and “I want everything now”. If only we had the patience and empathy to fight through that.

Getting back into it after a (dark) week off.

Sometimes accepting yourself for who you really are is hard. But it’s necessary.

Your support system may not know how to help you at first. But you will learn and grow together.

Accepting who you are is not only helpful, it’s necessary in order to heal.

Being open and honest in your relationships is necessary to build trust and compassion.

The relationships you build with those you trust are just as important as the one you build with yourself.
