When God elevates us, it is for His glory, not for our fame. In this episode, we’re exploring the example of Daniel in the Bible. He was often brought before kings and favored with a good reputation of hearing the voice of God. He was celebrated for his strong prophetic insights, intelligence and wisdom. But he never let the praise get to his head. Daniel’s devotion was to the one true God. May God empower us to approach our influence in a similar way.

God wants to free us from addictive and destructive behavior patterns. Getting free and staying free doesn’t have to be a guessing game. We can go into it with a strategy for victory.

A prayer for my brothers in Christ. A call to arise and reach for their highest calling. Let this word break every unholy bondage that has been holding them down.

WHAT IS MARRIAGE: Our marriage is a reflection of God’s love for us. We know what love is because Christ loved us first. Let’s look at how He’s shown us love:
Seeks the highest good for us and surrounds us with a caring, unselfish love
Sanctifies us
Makes us holy [set apart for God]
Nourishes, protects and cherishes us
Always seeks the best for her with an attitude of lovingkindness
Delights in us
He notices us, treats us with loving concern, treasures him, honors him, and holds us dear

I am confident that God always uses painful experiences to teach us. Even when I don’t understand what He’s doing, I’m comforted by this verse: “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” - 1 Peter‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬
