Episode 7: Urbit & Psychedelic Quantum Physics with Jake Hamilton

Episode 7: Urbit & Psychedelic Quantum Physics with Jake Hamilton

"What I'm obsessed with.. and something that I commonly see things through the frame of.. is how the computational and non-computational interface".

In this episode I talk with Jake Hamilton.

Jake is an Urbit dev who I met at a party in San Salvador during which we had one of those chaotic but highly invigorating late night discussions.  A few days later, when I bumped into him again at Adopting BTC I had to ask him if he would let me record us having a conversation.

The result is over three and a half hours of random banter covering topics such as quantum physics, artificial intelligence, psychedelics, religion, ethics, Bitcoin and of course, Urbit.. plus many, many more.

It's a long one, so make sure you're sitting comfortably...

Episode 1: Horse Drawn Wagon with Yasmin

Episode 1: Horse Drawn Wagon with Yasmin

"I said 'I resign'.. and went to Hyde Park to the free concert in full bus conductor's uniform".

In this episode I talk to my friend Yasmin, a neighbour in our small hamlet in the hills of Mid Wales.

Yasmin has lived a full and fascinating life in the British Isles spent mainly at the fringes of society.  In this podcast, amongst other things we talk about her experience of giving up her 6 month old daughter for adoption in the 1960s, spending 20 years living with her family in a horse drawn wagon, and the trials and tribulations of having an unconventional outlook on life.

Listen to the end of the pod to hear the culmination of the story of her adopted daughter... it is quite unbelievable.

This conversation was recorded in Mid Wales, UK.
