Tell Me More: Peter Marra on The Cat Wars
On this Tell Me More episode of Tell Me What You Know, we are joined by Pete Marra to continue our discussion on The Cat Wars. For those who don’t know, The Cat Wars is about shedding light on the fact that owned, unowned, and feral cats are wreaking havoc on bird, mammal, and reptile populations in North America and around the world. These cuddly killers also spread disease that can impact local wildlife as well as humans.
The confrontations occur when animal rights activists and environmentalists discuss how to handle this complicated issue. No matter the best way forward we want you to have the facts because this is Tell Me What You Know.

In part 2, Michael #Deux takes us on a little trip out to golf country to talk about Scotty Cameron putters. Would it ruin the brand if you knew that Scotty Cameron's name isn't actually Scotty? It kind of ruined it for me. Have a listen and learn more about the #1 putter on the tour.

On this installment of TMWYK, we’re talking about the Amazon and the Rat Academy. “The lungs of the Earth” are going through some tough times due to wildfires and deforestation. The quadruple-double in basketball, the unassisted triple play in baseball, and, everyone's favorite, the ELECTRIC nine-dart finish. Ep. 13: EGOTs and Incels
On this edition of TMWYK, we’re talking EGOTs and incels. Kind of sounds like a Smashing Pumpkins song. We talk a bit about the 15 artists who have hit for the cycle in the entertainment round, as well as touch on a few that are batting .750, just missing one of the big four to round out their collection. The second half of the show gets a bit more serious, as we discuss the subculture of involuntary celibates (incels)
Ep. 12: Orange Wine and UFOs
On this episode of TMWYK, our viticulturists put on their tinfoil hats and drop knowledge on orange wine and UFOs. Before last weekend, we were under the impression that wine was either red, white or boxed, but we’ve now transformed from uncultured swine into sophisticated orange wine guzzlers. For the second half of the show, we take a look at what some military members claim to be UFOs that they have captured on their high tech devices. Is this a sign of life from another corner of the galaxy, or just another conspiracy that would give Alex Jones a quarter chub? You be the judge.
Ep. 11: Cockroaches and Goat Yoga
On this episode of TMWYK, Michael #1 gets prehistoric with some cockroach talk. These little idiots are already hard to kill, and their power levels are increasing as they become ever more resistant to chemicals and insecticides. If the sound of crushing a cockroach under your boot isn’t enough, stick around for the second half of the show where we crank the crunchy levels to 11 with our chat on Goat Yoga. What’s more annoying than exercising? I don’t know, maybe having a barnyard animal jump on your back and eat your hair while you’re exercising? Yeah, probably that.
Ep. 10: Walk Ons and MC Hammer
On the 10th episode of the podcast, we've got a very special guest in studio. Michael and Michael team up to discuss Walk Ons (not the bar, but also not NOT the bar). Ep. 9: Independence Day and Yacht Rock
Episode Nine --> With the Fourth of July coming up next week, the hosts are talking Independence Day facts. We pay homage to Captain Steve Hiller for his heroic actions that helped save the world from alien annihilation 23 years ago. They also converse about fireworks ranging from whistling bungholes to whisker biscuits, spleen splitters to gut busters. The episode wraps up on a mellow note with a little chat about Yacht Rock. Michael #2 confesses his love for Loggins and Michael McDonald as Michael #1 realizes he doesn't really know what Yacht Rock is.
Ep. 8: Marvel Cinematic Universe & Instagram
Ep. 8 → with the re-release of Avengers: End Game looming, the podfathers shared some thoughts on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and their 22 movies (soon to be 23) made and billions (not trillions) of dollars earned. We turn our attention to Instagram for the second half of the show. With likes and follower count taking the place of actual human interaction, only one question is worth asking: how can I become an influencer? #nofilter
Ep. 7: Twitch and Pebble Beach
We're talking games and sports on Ep. 7 of TMWYK. Leading off the show, we take a closer look at Twitch.tv, the online platform currently leading the live streaming industry. Here's a fun game: go tell your parents/grandparents that there's a website where millions of people watch other people play video games, and then continue to watch as their circuit boards slowly malfunction. For topic #2, Michael #2 takes us out to the west coast as we discuss Pebble Beach, the home of this year's U.S. Open. We're dropping knowledge bombs like they're birdies and giving you all the information you could ever want to know about Pebble Beach, including what Michael would order if he were to eat at The Bench. I know you're excited, but please don't skip ahead. Patience is a virtue, the waiting is the hardest part, yada yada yada.
Ep. 6: The Wack Pack & Tornadoes
On the sixth installment of TMWYK, Michael #1 pays homage to the King of All Media, Howard Stern, while giving Michael #2 a crash course in all things Wack Pack. We talk about Wack Packers past and present and the peculiar role they fill on the Howard Stern show. The winds change slightly as we turn our attention to tornadoes and breeze through some facts and figures dealing with this weather phenomenon, which is fitting since this podcast blows.
Ep. 5: LARP (Live-Action Role Play) and Tencent
On this episode of TMWYK, we’re leaving the real world behind us and jumping feet-first into the fantasy realm. Your two favorite hosts role play as people who actually know what they’re talking about while spitting facts about LARPing (Live-Action Role Playing). Also, China gets put on notice. Tencent, a Chinese conglomerate, has Michael #2 seeing red.
Ep. 4: Beyond Meat & Light Speed
Welcome to Ep. 4 of your favorite new podcast. On today's podcast, we dissect the hottest substitute meat product on the market, Beyond Meat, and talk a bit about the newly public company's trajectory. Michael #2 puts on his glasses and pocket protector and schools us in the intricacies of light speed. Don't blink.
Ep. 3: Hobby Horse Revolution and Darts
On the third installment of TMWYK, the Michael's discuss a new revolution taking place in Scandinavia -- the fierce competition between Hobby Horse riders. You read that correctly. Also on the agenda, a discussion about everyone's 18th favorite sport: Darts. Learn more about the larger than life characters in both of these action packed activities from two guys who now know more about both than is probably necessary.
Ep. 2: Jesus' Brother and Space Force
On this episode of TMWYK, our two researching co-hosts got down on some biblical and extra-terrestrial knowledge. Did Jesus have a twin brother, Thomas? We don’t know, but some people way smarter than us seem to think so. Also, what’s the deal with Space Force and how long do I have to wait until I can start vacationing elsewhere in the Milky Way. Panama City Beach is getting way too crowded.
Ep. 1: Podcasts and Cat Adoptions
On the first ever episode of the TMWYK, Michael and Michael dive directly into two of the hottest topics in the streets: Podcasts and...Cat Adoptions? Listen along as the hosts try and convince one another that their research consisted of anything other than Wikipedia articles. We'll provide answers to questions like, “Do cats in North Carolina have too much sex?” We also discover that, according to Charles Barkley, podcasts suck because they give a voice to too many idiots on the internet. Sorry, Charlie.
Sincerely,
Two Idiots
Ep. 0: Welcome to Tell Me What You Know
Tell Me What You Know teaches you about 2 new topics each week. Hosts Michael Brown (Michael #1) and Michael Peloquin (Michael #2) pick a topic each week and don't tell the other host what they have picked. It's a surprise for them but not for you. Learn about random topics like Gender Reveals, Twisters, 'Hills', Incels, Tsunamis, The Cannonball Run, The Designated Hitter, and many many more. They don't always get it right so be sure to listen to the Tell Me More episodes where the hosts interview a real expert in a topic to fix and elaborate on things the hosts missed. Come to laugh and maybe learn a little something. This is Tell Me What You Know.
