When the Bolsheviks clawed their way to power after the October Revolution of 1917 it was the first time since 1789 that a European power had fallen to such a radical ideology. In doing so, they brought Russia down the path of totalitarianism and eventually a global struggle for ideological supremacy that dominated the second half of the twentieth century. To many the creation of the USSR seems a foregone conclusion... but what if these events had played out differently? 

In this episode, we discuss two scenarios; What if nuclear weapons never existed and what if JFK had never been assassinated? I was very LUCKy to have my friend Louis LUCK join me as well. We're very funny here at TINH, as you can see. 

The Spring of 1940 saw chaos explode across Western Europe, with Hitler's armies invading France with terrifying speed. Britain was forced to evacuate hundreds of thousands of soldiers from the beaches or risk their entire army falling into enemy hands. It succeeded and is seen by many as a near-miraculous achievement. But what if this evacuation failed?
