We have most of the TMG present as we talk about the games that caught our attention recently. Miggy, after his 100+ playthrough of Final Fantasy 7 Remake didn't want to wait for the next game as he went back to the original game and found a new perspective of the 1997 JRPG classic.
Matthew shares his thoughts on Gears Tactics and XCOM: Chimera Squad together with Migs, who apparently is appreciating a KOF gacha game. Then, we have Carlos jumping into the Civilization VI rabbit hole and finding Sean Bean is everywhere in that game.

TMG Podcast #200 - Taste the Mako
This special episode is focused on the most-awaited title in 2020 - Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Carlos, Miggy, and Matthew have played it (two of us already finished the game) and tackled different parts of the game that were fantastic but also highlight it’s faults.
This is just the first part as we are planning to release a spoiler episode to not hold back at what we thought about the whole thing, especially how it concluded and what we can expect fro Square Enix moving forward.

TMG Podcast #199 - Resident Die Twice
Another episode...but with a new Miguel joining the mix! Miggy makes a glorious return to the TMG Podcast to share his thoughts on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and shared the story on how we got a picture with Koji Igarashi, complete with a cowboy hat and whips, during his promotion of Bloodstained at ESGS in the Philippines.
We also talk about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice because thanks to the quarantine, Carlos was able to experience The Game Awards 2020 Game of the Year winner to completion and a few words about From Software's latest release.
But the real meat of #199 is Matthew's impressions on Resident Evil 3, the latest remake title released by Capcom. How was it? Did it live up to the expectations set by the remake of Resident Evil 2? And do we want more of these remakes from the Resident Evil franchise?

TMG Podcast #198- Nioh and the Will of the Wisps - Original Sin
Episode 198 has a series of firsts going for it - It was the first episode to be streamed live on TMG's Facebook page during recording, it was the first episode Migs participated in for 2020, and this is the first time we didn't go overboard as we usually engage in a variety of off-topic banter when a lot of us are on the mic.
Migs joins us this week specifically to give his thoughts on Nioh 2 as he's went through a good portion of the game to everyone a good idea what people can expect from this PS4 exclusive. Carlos also share his time with Ori and the Will of the Wisps while Matthew looks back and explores the world in Divinity: Original Sin 2, a perfect time sink for those cooped up thanks to quarantine most of the world is currently in.

TMG Podcast #197 - Doom Resident Eternal
Episode 197. Three more episodes until episode 200. How time flies and we honestly don't know what to do when we reach this milestone, but it's safe to say a weekly schedule is definitely possible, so get ready as we got something to say each week!
But enough of that, this episode focuses on the latest details on the PS5 thanks to a detailed presentation by Mark Cerny, the PS5 lead system architect at PlayStation. Then, we talk about Doom Eternal, the latest entry in the Doom franchise. Towards the end, the crew share their thoughts on the Resident Evil 3 demo, now out on consoles and PC. It's a great demo to get a feel of what you can expect when the game comes out on April 3, but it also got us excited about the possibilities of remakes being the new trend in the next generation.

TMG Podcast #196 - E3 Cancelled of Duty
E3 2020 is cancelled due to the ongoing COVID - 19 (coronavirus) pandemic, and at this rate, anything with a crowd will be canceled very soon. Carlos and Matthew look into the effects of these types of cancellation to video game events and how video game companies (Square Enix, Ubisoft, etc) will address an announce new games and products in the future.
Carlos gives his thoughts on the recent release of Call of Duty: Warzone, the new battle royale game that surpassed 6 million players since it's release last week. At the end of the episode 196, Matt shares his experience with Final Fantasy 12 Zodiac Age and how a speed up feature changes how you enjoy the JRPG.

TMG Podcast #195 - Tom Clancy's Fantasy, New York Remake
In this episode we talk about the Final Fantasy VII Remake based on the gameplay demo released to the public on March 3. Not only are we more than excited for the game's release in April, we are optimistic at future remakes if done in the same quality.
We also talk about the Corona Virus as this is a heated situation all around the world that did not spare the video game industry. While many gaming events such as GDC and more were cancelled, we wonder how this will affect E3 -one of the most prominent event in the video game world - as this is an important year for the organizers for a variety of reasons.
And lastly, we talk about Tom Clancy's The Division 2, The Warlords of New York expansion that was launched on March 3, 2020. Carlos is assigned to review the expansion and has expressed his thoughts as he went through the campaign and some parts of the new endgame content.

TMG Podcast Episode 188 - A Fallen Order of Dragon Age
Anthem wasn’t the only project affected by mismanagement in Bioware as this episode is somewhat a continuation of our discussion on that issue during episode 187. Carlos, Migs, and Matthew discuss the story of Dragon Age 4’ troubled production based on Jason Schreier’s article.
But we started the show with something on the positive side of things - the story trailer of of Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order. This is the first official look of the game, and while it is not gameplay footage, it was enough to get excited for a single player-only game helmed by Respawn Entertainment (Titanfall, Apex Legends). It’s slated for this year and we are optimistic at what we saw.

TMG Podcast Episode 187 - The Borderlands’ Anthem Exposes Steam Bombs?
Carlos, Matthew, and Miggy go all out on speculation in this episode of the TMG Podcast.
We started the episode off with users review bombing Borderlands 2 after the announcement that the PC version of Borderlands 3 will be a 6-month exclusive in the Epic Games Store. Then, the speculation begins - looks like Watch Dogs 3 will be set in London, and the next Assassin's Creed game will take a stab on Vikings history.
Then, we tackle the big one - Kotaku's Jason Schreier and his expose on the development of Anthem in BioWare. We mention the big bomb shells that was revealed in his lengthy article which I highly suggest you read in its entirety.
