after taking off for a business trip and labor day. we're back in the saddle again and we're kicking it off with terrible things happening to children, one gets disappeared and one get killed by someone (It was definitely her mom though, probably). That's right we've got the Casey Anthony case, followed by the mysterious disappearance of a 15 year old Italian girl in Vatican City in the 80's, we've got twists, turns, mystery, thrills, chills, and a really boring life update in the beginning.

We've got a special episode for you this time. this time Jake tells us a story of a disgruntled white man who uses his "patriotism" to commit an act of domestic terror, but like, in a cool way. And we try something a little special this time, a slideshow of the destruction and the machine with which the damage was done, this one is a doozy, Insomniacs. As always we hope you enjoy!

This weeks episode Jake is taking us on a journey into some twisted stuff. I know we say that all the time but this one had some real zingers, some visceral reactions, if you will. We go into Daniel LaPlante's horrible case, the tragedy that made him and the next level horrible acts he commited.

Coincidentally we both brought religion heavy topics this time so be warned if that an issue for you, Dylan kicks things off with Marcus Wesson the incestuous vampire cult leader of Fresno, and Jake breaks down the Heaven's Gate psychos and their ridiculous beliefs.

Do you enjoy listening to 21 minutes of nonsensical life updates with the occasional cool update on motorcycles? if so then listen all the way through, but if you'd rather just jump right into the story about The Forgotten Cannibal and his many trophies, along with the mysterious entity known as The Axeman (who was probably uglier than American Horror Story's Danny Huston) then you can just jump right in to the 21 minute mark and it'll pick up.

Have you ever wondered what happens to babies when pregnant mothers take prescription drugs not tested or regulated by the FDA and other equivalent organizations? Are you curious about the inspiration behind the newest Conjuring movie (Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It) then tune in because we break down the Thalidomide fiasco and the bizarre case of Arne Cheyenne Johnson!

Can you guess what I'm gonna say here? Well if you guessed "Content warning for this one, because it's gonna be a rough episode" no you didn't, you don't need to lie to impress me, I still love you. But that is what I'm saying because, same as the last couple episodes, it's a rough ride this episode, but it's worth it for the jam packed, and emotionally taxing episode, I promise next week we'll take it easy on you guys!

Just a fair warning, as with most episodes, this one is a rough one, this week we discuss the mass suicide of Jonestown, along with a lesser known series of serial killings from Australia, known as "the Family" killings. There's plenty of graphic, uncomfortable violence, manipulation, SA, and more, so get ready, but it's a good one.

We have returned after a brief hiatus (again) due to some unforeseen health issues, but everything is back on track and we're bring the heat again! We delve into the bizarre and disturbing case of Canadian serial Robert Pickton (AKA The Pig Farmer) meanwhile Jake discusses the alien stories of Stan Romanek that include quite the twist, so strap in and enjoy the ride!

Content Warning for this episode: We discuss some brutal cases, we've done so before, but on this one there's some violent killings, suspected incest, animal abuse/murder, and dismemberment, etc. It's a good episode and it's crammed full of interesting information, the really intense cases of the Papin sisters from 1930's France and a the brutal murder and mindset of Jason Masey, it's intense, but it definitely makes up for us not posting last week, enjoy!

This week the boys break down the mysterious Project Stargate and the skin-crawling tales of Astral projection that come along with that, and Dylan gives us the breakdown of a bizarre Russian man with a worse hobby, lots of chills and thrills in this weeks episode, and always we hope you enjoy!

We're moving, we're grooving, we're joined in the studio today by Dylan's roommate Kade and by Jake's large cup of whiskey and soda, so the vibes are immaculate. In between bouts of Star Wars references and talking about our love lives (or lack thereof) we discuss the abduction of Betty and Barney Hill, a well know couple who were involved in their communities and horrible experimentation from alien visitors (also they have a really cute dog). After the break Dylan discusses the wild ride of The Graduate/Biltmore Hotel, starting with it's bizarre satanic construction, heaping spoonfuls of murders and disappearances, and eventual hauntings, this is one where the ghosts are actually some of the least wild stories, so it'll be a fun ride all around!

After an extended true crime run from Dylan we finally break the pattern by bringing another true crime story, but with the twist of also being a paranormal story, it's a personal favorite and was made even better by a very special guest and some fancy editing! and on the back half Jake finally gets some usage out of the Wikipedia list of serial killers with the highest body count, with none other than a murder doctor from the UK. find out all about these wild stories and see why Dylan is so proud of his editing skills this week on Too Scared To Sleep (stick around until the end for some surprises)

We discuss a few topics sent to us by a listener, Jake discusses the first hand encounters of the legendary Black Eye Kids and all the spooky nonsense that goes along with paranormal children anyway, and Dylan dives into the history and hauntings of the "most haunted hotel in America" the Crescent Hotel all the way down in Arkansas!

Another episode so soon??? Well yes, because the boys are back on track now! this week we discuss a famous Florida lighthouse and how, you guessed it, it's haunted as hell! We also discuss the horrifying tragedy of twin siblings forced to go through horrible experiments for the benefit of one shitty doctor. The last story gets a little rough, but we try and approach it with respect and a little levity, but stick with it and learn about the true evils in the world, anyway, thank you all for listening and we hope you enjoy!
