On this episode, Kellie and Belén chat with Johanna Hill, the TradeExperettes Outreach Director, about the TE “10 Quick Wins for Digital Trade” Report that is part of TE’s Digital Trade Year and was launched in September 2022, in Geneva, during the WTO Public Forum. It also includes valuable inputs from some of the experts that contributed to the report: Marion Jensen, Director, Trade and Agriculture Directorate, at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Eunice Huang, Head of Asia-Pacific Trade Policy at Google, and Anna Jankowska-Eriksson, Market Analyst at the International Trade Centre (ITC).

This episode consists of a conversation with Johanna Hill, the TradeExperettes Outreach Director, about the TE Project “10 Quick Wins for Digital Trade,” that is part of TE’s Digital Trade Year, and was launched in September 2022, in Geneva, during the WTO Public Forum week. Speaker: Ilaria Espa is a Senior Assistant Professor of International Economic Law at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), Senior Research Fellow at the World Trade Institute (WTI) and Adjunct Professor at the Law Faculty of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She serves as CISDL Lead Counsel for Natural Resources, the Secretary-General of the Swiss Energy Law Association (SELA), a member of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law and a Fellow of the Cambridge University Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG) Platform on Global Energy Governance.

Stephanie Honey is a trade policy consultant and former New Zealand trade negotiator.  She focuses on digital trade and services, Asia-Pacific regional economic integration, the WTO, agriculture, and inclusion in trade.  Stephanie serves as Deputy Executive Director of the APEC Business Advisory Council, Associate Director of the New Zealand International Business Forum, and is the co-founder of Global Trade Insights, a business offering executive education in trade policy.  Today, she discusses digital trade, the latest developments in digital trade in FTAs, and the WTO e-commerce negotiations.
