WHY am I where I am?

This question can be asked from two perspectives

It's possible to ask this question from a REGRET perspective

What does that mean?
It means you're regretting your life and where you find yourself

It also means, you're looking at your life and it's short of what it could have become

This question can also be asked from am INQUISITIVE perspective

How do I mean?
This is asking the question for wanting to know what you are meant to do and who you're meant to be

It's asking the question to know your WHY in this world

If you ask from the INQUISITIVE perspective early enough, you'll not have any reason to ask it from the REGRET perspective

You have more in you than you're exhibiting at the moment, you can ask questions inquisitively to uncover, unearth and dig out more treasures locked up on your inside

Questions such as
What will I do next?
What should I do next?
What can I do again?

These are questions that can spur you into action to want to do more

You can know yourself more, doing so will make you escape from the prototype-kind of life that people have known you with

You can be a better version of yourself and that's what Personal Development helps you to do

I can guide and train you in discovering answers to these questions and many more questions that are raging in your heart, seeking answers

How you can spend your time for productivity!


Same number of hours is allotted to everyone in this world, both rich and poor!


There are strategies you can learn to be able to utilize your time effectively for productivity


This was the focus of my first audio event this year on Monday, January 2024


I opened the session by letting my listeners know that the term Time Management is not about managing time, but managing your activities within the time allocated to you


I then shared the following four strategies with them (the recording will be uploaded on my Spotify channel soon)

⏳ Prioritize Tasks Effectively: I encouraged my listeners to categorize tasks based on urgency and importance using Matrix. Which helps in focusing on high-priority items and ensures essential tasks are completed first, leading to increased productivity.

🥅 Set Clear Goals and Deadlines: I emphasized the importance of defining specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound goals. By so doing, individuals can create a sense of urgency, fostering a more organized and efficient approach to their work.

🚧 Use Time Blocking Techniques: I also introduced the concept of time blocking, where individuals can allocate specific blocks of time for different types of activities. I made them understand that this method helps in minimizing multitasking, increasing concentration, and dedicating focused attention to specific tasks, ultimately enhancing productivity.

💻Embrace Technology Wisely: I encouragedspoke on the use of productivity tools and apps that streamline tasks, automate repetitive processes, and provide insights into time usage. Leveraging technology effectively can save time and enable individuals to allocate their energy toward more value-driven activities, boosting overall productivity

Persistence and its Challenges

Introduction
In the journey of life, on the way to achieving your set goals, fulfilling your dreams and actualizing your vision or purpose

The journey is never a smooth road, it's not a dash without hurdles, it's a marathon that takes long hours, days, months and years

It takes you through valleys, deserts, hills and marshy places before you can get to the place of success

There's therefore need for you to be prepared with the necessary resources for the journey

In this series tonight, I'll be speaking on one of the major resources you need, the challenges that come against it on the way and what you must have to overcome the challenges

What's Persistence?
Persistence is the unwavering commitment and determination to achieve a goal, regardless of challenges, setbacks, or obstacles that may arise along the way.

It is the ability to keep pushing forward, maintaining focus, and putting in consistent effort until the desired outcome is achieved.

Persistence is not just about working hard; it's about having the resilience to endure hardships

Why should I develop it?

The importance of persistence cannot be overstated.

It is often the key factor that differentiates between success and failure.

Many great achievements throughout history can be attributed to individuals who refused to give up in the face of adversity.

If you don't want to remain or die in obscurity
If you don't want to live an unfulfilled life
If you don't want to die without fulfilling your Purpose in life

Then you must develop Persistence

What are the challenges of Persistence?

There are basically three challenges I'll be discussing about tonight

1. Distraction - this comes when your attention is drawn away from something you're focusing on. In this case, your vision or purpose is your focus and gaze, but with the noise in the world, distraction comes easily

2. Discouragement - is the feeling of despair in the face of obstacles. There are various obstacles on the way to fulfilling your Purpose, when you always get to the state in which you lose hope, you begin to get discouraged
The down time in the economy of your country may drive you into the state of discouragement

3. Doubt - this is the state being unsure of something. If you're not sure of being able to actualize your dreams, you subscribe to doubt

To overcome these challenges, you must develop the following

1. Focus - you must develop an unwavering and unswerving focus on your goals, vision and purpose

2. Fearlessness - fear attacks everyone but you must learn to defeat it by doing that which you fear

3. Faith - your vision or purpose came from the Most Powerful Source, which is God, you must therefore be connected to Him for you to overcome the challenge of fulfilling your Purpose in life

There's only one way leading to the destination that's characterized by Light, Peace, Joy

The Way is calling you to come over and follow the right direction

Follow the Way and you'll get to the final destination

The High Flyer
There's a place that's higher than the ordinary flat place

There's also a place that's lower than the flat place

There are people that are found in the low place, in fact, they are many there, those in the low place are struggling for a way up

There are many people in the flat place, a little higher than the low place, but they are also struggling to move to the high place

Why are people struggling and striving to leave the low and flat place? I keep wondering!

Why are you wondering? I ask myself, you should have known that the low and flat places are too crowded, the people there are not reckoned with, the people there are not recognized, the people there are not celebrated, the people there are not celebrities, the people there are not seen, the people there are not selected, the people there are marginalized, the people there are localized.

But, can you believe that those that are in the high place were once in the low and flat places? Hmmm, such is life!

The same people that were in the low place but later stepped up have now forgotten the place and the people where they once were staying

Hmmmm, such is life! They stepped out and stepped up, but have now forgotten where they came from, some still have their friends, families and colleagues in the low and flat places, but they've forgotten them

The low place is crowded, slimy, miry, dirty, it's obscure, dark, it's full of struggles and strugglers, striving to make things work, striving to make ends meet, running but no speed, walking but no movement

Everything seems to be on static mode, the more they move, the more they struggle, running from pillar to post, but ends don't meet, setting target but not meeting up with it, they keep asking the question: is this how it will continue to be?

This is to announce an answer to the question,with the hope that those asking the question will have the opportunity to get this answer, because it may not get to some of the people in the low and flat places of life

But, I'm hopeful that the good news of this answer will spread to the widest territory where those that are struggling, striving and running to scale out of the miry and slimy place of life, to the high place where there's light and visibility are

Here's the good news: You can receive wings to mount up - Yes, you can soar out of the low place of struggle - Yes, you can fly high beyond your widest imagination - Yes, you can glide beyond your grade, it is by Grace

You also need to know by this good news that: You can receive speed to run and not be tired - Yes, you can gain haste to cover for your waste, you can run to overtake those that have gone ahead of you - you can get the speed to launch out to the gates of greatness, yes, yes, yes

I have come to announce to you that there's Wing of the Spirit to fly high and there's the Speed of the Spirit to run fast

The combo of the wings of the Spirit and the speed of the Spirit is what you need to be a high flyer, hopping out of the low and flat places moving to the high place, boarded on the wings of the Spirit, where you can never crash or be crushed, where you are protected by the potency of the Spirit, where you are guided never to miss the path, where you receive grace never to be disgraced

I announce to you that the High Place is meant and made for you - yes, you, don't look down on yourself, don't remember the things you've experienced in the low place, there's a transition into the High Place - the High Flyer in you is activated - your background doesn't mean you should remain in the background, there's a place for you in the high place, there's a sit for you among the high flyers, it's not the exclusive right of only a few, you are meant for the High Place, you're a High Flyer

Say with me: I have waited for this moment, I have stood my ground with the Lord, I receive wings to mount up and I receive speed to run never to be tired. I AM A HIGH FLYER

The army led by Christ is from Victory and Triumph, not for triumph. According to 2nd Corinthians 2: 14, the word Triumph means 'to Conquer' or 'give Victory' and since Christ has won the battle on the cross, connecting to the cross gives us the same Victory that He proclaimed by His death and resurrection. The victory over the devil and all manner of evil is available only in Christ, there's nothing or no-one else that can offer you permanent victory like Christ Jesus
In Him (Jesus) is your total and permanent victory assured, remain connected to Him forever

In 1st Corinthians 15: 57, it is written that "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ", this is the testimony of everyone that's connected to Christ Jesus, we have victory over death, and every other things that came into the earth after the fall of man, Jesus Himself said in John 16: 33 that "...I have overcome the world", so by His death and resurrection, you and I have victory over every powers of the enemy and evil ones
The knowledge of your victory is what makes you to escape from the shackles of the devil

The victory by God is not based on any physical weapon or instrument. In the Old Testament, there are instances where God manifested His victorious power to convince us in the New Testament that there won't be need for us to fight and we don't need to get sophisticated weapons for the battle of life to gain victory. In 2nd Kings 19, Assyria raised an army against Judah, and they were frightened not knowing what to do, but they called upon the name of the LORD, who sent an Heavenly Emissary to fight the battle for Judah and in one night, 185,000 soldiers of the Assyrians were killed, not by the sword or spears of the Jews
As you take the declaration for today, let your heart be set that the Lord is fighting for you at all times

Declare that: I subscribe to and enjoy the attention of Heavenly Emissaries for my Victory

There's the prophecy of eternal Victory in the Old Testament book of Isaiah 25: 8 which says that "He will swallow up death in Victory..." the prophets of the Old Testament saw this and were convinced that a time was coming and now has come that victory will no longer be by physical warfare (using guns, bomb, bow and arrow etc). They therefore relied on the power of God all their lives, in this dispensation therefore we need to rely on the same God who is still with the same Power that made that promise to them in the Old Testament

He (God) doesn't need to be struggling to win any battle because all power belongs to HIM, so your connection to God is your assurance of victory in life and the victory in Christ is permanent

Victory is only available at the order of the Lord. Going to war in your own power, might, understanding and strategy will end in failure and loss at the battle front. We see the example of King David in 2nd Samuel 5: 19 "so David asked the LORD, “Am I to go attack the Philistines? Will you give me victory over them?” “Go get them,” the LORD replied to David, “because I’m going to put the Philistines right into your hand!” he asked God if he should attack the Philistines and God assured him that he would have victory (when God said I will put the Philistines right into your hands - this is victory) so, when David went to the battle against the enemy, he was able to bring them into subjection under him and victory became his lot
As you say Amen and take this declaration today, I see you bringing to subjection every powers of the enemies in your life in Jesus mighty name

Life is full of battles, you should know: spiritual, emotional, mental, psychological, financial and even physical battles
In all or any of these battles that you may be going through, there is only one source of victory and that is God. In Deuteronomy 20: 4 the Bible says "For the LORD your God will be with you, fighting on your behalf against your enemies in order to grant you victory." (ISV), this is to let you know that there's no other power, force or spirit that can help you to achieve victory in life, except the power of God, because He's the source of the Ultimate Power in existence in this world
There's nothing that happens in this world that is behind the knowledge of God, He knows the purpose of everything and so, He's able to proffer solutions to problems and give you victory in all situations

Let this be your declaration today: I receive Victory through the power of God

We have seen the following virtues: the Good Hand of God, Power, Authority, Dominion, Glory (I unveiled various dimensions of the Glory of God) and lastly, we looked at Strength, as I spoke about it during the introduction to these aspects, each of these virtues or resources is abundantly available in God and they are meant for us His children, that's why I always put the declaration for us to lay claim to them.
I'm therefore saying this today to remind you that the Fragrance of the Spirit podcast is not to waste your time but to keep you connected to the Throne of Grace and for you to receive the resources that are available for you and I at the Throne
I pray for you that as you continue to get this spiritual resource from me via this podcast, the virtues that are in God will be made available for you in Jesus name

Zion is a place of encounter with God. Zion is the city of the Living God, it's the mount on which Jerusalem is located. When you go to Zion, you go up. From there the strength of God is released (Psalm 20: 2) because it will take strength to climb the hill to appear before God and come back again, so God usually releases strength to His people in Zion. Wherever you access the presence of God is your Zion (Heb 12: 22 - 25), everything that's available in Zion is made available in God's presence, including His Divine Strength.
I stand before God right now and declare that the strength of the Most High God, that's been upholding me is released into you right now in Jesus name

Each time we appear before God, a dimension of Him is unleashed into us. The Bible says those that appear in Zion (God's presence) move from strength to strength - Psalm 84: 7, you can't come to God's presence and lack Divine strength, I said it in episode 57 of this podcast that: Strength is part of the Divine nature and it's communicable from God to us.
Whenever and wherever you are able to access the presence of God, be conscious of this fact that Divine nature (including: strength, health etc) is imparted or unleashed into your life from the Divine Being

Let this therefore be your declaration: I access the Divine presence and receive Divine strength, but you must claim it for you to experience it physically

Understand that Strength is part of the nature of God. The Bible says in Exodus 13: 3 "...for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place...", that was what He displayed in the process of bringing Israel out of bondage in Egypt, so He (God) has enough of strength to give to His children, especially when we realise our infirmity in the flesh and run to Him to help our infirmity
Never think that you can live outside the help of God, even in the physical aspect of your life, because God is concerned with every aspect and dimensions of your life and existence

There's a promise of God that we need to embrace and lay claim to in His Words, in the book of Isaiah 40: 29 which says "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength", God realises that as long as we're in the vessel of flesh, tiredness may set in, but He's made a wonderful declaration that when we faint, He gives power and when might is reducing, He's able to increase strength to scale through, strength to overcome and strength to reach new levels
As you wait on Him, He's able to make His strength and might available to you with which you'll be able to do all that's expected of you

Strength is needed to overcome the stress of life, the things we do in the world are enough to consume the strength we may have, but the kind of strength I'm talking about in this edition is in the spirit and it then flows to the other parts of the being.
Because God knows the importance of the body of man in carrying out His Divine Assignment, He doesn't only empower or strengthen our spirit man, He releases Divine Strength into the body (container) in order for us not to be weary or weak

Divine Strength is a requirement to fulfill Divine Assignment, every given assignment requires energy to carry it out and this is both in the spiritual and physical dimensions, in the text I quoted in the last edition (Eph. 3: 16) we saw that the strength is unleashed into the inner man, which is the spirit of man because as long as your spirit is energised you can go far in carrying out your assignment or fulfilling your Divine Destiny. So, whenever you feel like giving up on God, remember that He's got Abundant Strength in Him and it's meant for you

Inside of the Glory of God which is provoked by the fragrance of the Spirit is embedded Divine Strength and Might. This is the kind of strength that's primarily imparted into your inner man.
The stronger your inner man, the stronger you are in the world and the stronger you are in the world the more impact you'll make. That's why Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians in his letter to them "That He (God) would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;" you'll see that the riches of His glory is too abundant to be exhausted, Divine Strength is available in it, so your exposure to the Glory of God makes strength available for you. From today I declare a release of that strength into you in Jesus name

God has the complete understanding of every situation and circumstances that we may go through, He also has the solution to them, one of the provisions of God for the solution is Favour. The Bible says "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life..." Psalm 30: 5, the favour of God gives Life, not the kind of life that people of the world are talking about but the Divine Life. Also in verse 7 of Psa 30 "LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong:..." the favour of God makes you strong in all situations
When the favour of God is unleashed into your life, the favour of men will locate your life
