With 3 months to explore, she found herself inside the Balboa Activity Center in San Diego where her new found love of pickleball changed her perspective on life. Pickleballers, of all ages, were so friendly and welcoming, eager to teach her, and others, how to play this fast paced game. After every session she’d walked away with a sense of belonging, and that she wasn’t the only one.
