Season 6 Closer: The "WE TELL THE STORIES" Series
Another unforgettable season comes to an end. I am heart-full with gratitude for the fantastic contribution of time and energy from all involved, that made this a worthwhile project indeed. Thank you, too, to those who have faithfully followed along and tuned in each week to the stories that unfolded.
I could not have done any of this without the amazing gift of honest, unflinching courage to share a piece of themselves with us through their storytelling that each participant brought with them. Our phenomenal featured guests this season were:
- Eddy "Poetastic" Foreman
- Denise Saenz
- Lee Martinez Soto
- Patty Orozco
- Mark "Poet with Guitar" Fishbein
- Unmesh Mohitkar
- Ray Jane
- Kemlyn Tan Bappe
- Fin Hall
- Phillip Henry Christopher
- Christine Hall
- Michael Sindler
- Edith "Blackbird" Tapia
- Amiya Moretta
- Marcus Rodriguez
- Nick Paleologos
- Vayl Luella Larkin
You all dwell in a sacred space in my heart. Because of our shared love for our craft, we have become family. I love you all.

Lee has been published as a co-author in pretentious research papers that only others in academia care about; you can find their research contributions in Revista Ehquidad and Nova Science Publishers on topics of migration, resiliency, and homelessness.
On their creative endeavors, Lee has been featured in anthologies such as Nuestras Voces with Massachusetts’s College of Liberal Arts, Life in the Time, Chismosas Press vol. 3, Living Zine vol. 2, Latinx Heritage with the Nuyorican Poets’ Café and Bloomfield College, the Barbed Wire Open Mic, and Poets and Muses Podcast with Imogen Arate.
Lee holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which they use as paperweight now as they work on the field of education. When they are not writing or dissociating, they like to spend their time with their husband, four chonky doggos, two rats, and one danger noodle.
