*Special Episode* Interview with Matthew Bright (reupload)
Director of Tiptoes Matthew Bright joined us for a series of conversations to answer our questions and to discuss his films. The answers to many, many Triptoes questions can be found here... along with hints at possible future collaborations! The full videos of the interviews should be uploaded to YouTube shortly.
Episode 5 - The Nature of Mistakes; or, The End?
In their last(?) episode, Nate and Lex discuss Todd Browning's 1932 film, Freaks, and its resonances with Tiptoes. Also, Nate reveals certain developments in the research...
*At one point, Nate mentions Andrew Sarris and says he was a French film theorist. Sarris was American, and the theory was about directors, not actors. There are probably some other tiny errors as well.
Episode 4 - The Villechaize-Dinklage Effect
Lex and Nate discuss the life of Hervé Villechaize, the film My Dinner with Hervé (2018) based on his life, and actors' reasons for taking certain roles. The casting for Tiptoes becomes a little more intelligible in the process.

Episode 2 - Lights, Camera, Accidents feat. Andre
The guys discuss Tiptoes (2003) and Living in Oblivion (1996). Andre brings his filmmaking background to the conversation, and the theory of why Tiptoes turned out so strange grows.
