Happy Sunday everyone! And happy women’s history month! This week we decided to take a look at some of our favorite women in pop culture and the impact that they have had on us and why. We’re trying something new and working on actually staying on topic! Well... we try at least. It’s Marvel time! You all know how big of geeks we are! Since this Sunday fell between two marvel shows, we decided to talk about them. We talk about our feelings and observations about WandaVision, as well as our hopes and excitement over Falcon and Winter Soldier! So grab you favorite drink as we try not to geek out!

Welcome to Trying to make it to 30! A podcast where we go from talking about controversial issues to coffee orders in less than 15 minutes! We’ve been away for the past couple weeks, so we’re bringing you a small bonus episode in the meantime of something we’ve cut from the past. Don’t worry, we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled mess in no time!

Love is in the air this week as Cupid’s holiday arrive on a cold winter Sunday. As per usual a 30 minute topic turns into an hour long conversation about everything from the weather, star signs, alcohol, and the discussion on how we get things done on this podcast. We’re taking the time to really dig into how we feel about the US government and the new changes that are coming and are still needed for the future. At least, we try to. This week we take a serious turn and talk about how we feel when someone says the phrase “I don’t see color.” Taking time to try and see both sides of the argument and discuss our personal feelings, we get to the reason people say it and if it’s a valid argument or not. Why is 30 a big deal? Why are we worried about turning 30? Why did we start a podcast about it? What are we doing moving forward? So many questions, not too many answers. Happy Holidays everyone! For episode 12, we decided to talk about the holidays and our own experiences through the years. So instead of the 12 days of Christmas, we’re bringing you at least 12 minutes of podcasting. At least. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we’ve lost some of our recording and are making due with what we have. 2020 has been nothing short of rough. With all the stress this year has been throwing our way, we decided to take the time and talk about how we’re dealing with 2020, life, and our general stress. Spoiler alert, most of it involves wine. So come listen as we talk about coping with stress and trying to deal!
